The black-tailed godwit (Limosa limosa) is a large, long-legged, long-billed shorebird first described by Carl Linnaeus in 1758. It is a member of the godwit genus, Limosa. There are three subspecies, all with orange head, neck and chest in breeding plumage and dull grey-brown winter coloration, and distinctive black and white wingbar at all times.

Warning: long post! Oh for the love of money! Are you motivated by the money you earn, or the potential money you could earn in your business? Or do you find the whole idea of money too confronting, too necessary, and too overwhelming? Or do you take an ostrich approach to money and put your head in the sand and hope that everything will work out ok? Money can mean all sorts of things to all sorts of people, and in my years of coaching I have seen a huge variety of human reactions to the concept of money. Personally, I am not motivated by money in business, sure I like to have money to spend on things that I need and some things that I want, but what I am more profoundly driven by is the need to help others. You may find yourself in this category, preferring to think about how you can positively impact the lives of others through the products you sell, or the services you offer. And that is great. But it is not enough. Do you know why? If you do not have a good understanding of what money is needed to make the best version of your business and its offerings, it makes it a harder journey for you to deliver those goods and services to the people who most need it. Understanding the business in terms of what is needed in the future (budgeting and sales forecasting) and how to manage the now (record keeping and invoicing, tax obligations) is good, if not essential best business practice. My helping hand support tip is none other than the Australian Taxation Office - yep, you heard me right! On the website you will find templates and advice on all aspects of managing money in your business. The ATO want you to put your best foot forward in business, yes they have to collect the necessary taxes from your business, but guess what, those taxes go towards necessary things in our community - hospitals, schools, infrastructure etc. Take a look at www.ato.gov.au, and if you are ready to explore this topic further, make contact today and access a free Discovery Meeting with me to explore your financial processes. #businessgrowth#businessowner#businesstips#businessgoals#money#moneymindset#discovery
I booked a flight to Iceland in February and I’m so stoked to visit during the winter season. It’s going to be way different than this photo though... no lupines, probably no sunshine and a lot more snow. It’ll be an adventure❄️ Photo by @mikesugianto
