North Landing, situated in a natural cove on the north side of the Flamborough Headland, is still famous for its smugglers' caves and panoramic views along the coast to Filey and Scarborough. Once the hub of Flamborough's small, but active fishing industry, a few cobles can still be seen.
The current lighthouse on the Flamborough Headland, was built in 1806, and acts as a waypoint for deep sea vessels and coastal traffic, as well as marking the Flamborough Headland for vessels heading for the ports of Scarborough and Bridlington.

Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope everyone has a magical couple of days with your loved ones. I’m not sure if I’m more excited about all the pigs in blankets or the new Gavin & Stacey Christmas special! 🎄🎅🏻💫 •
