Oh those green curtains were definitely what sold us the house . 😂😂 Although I’ve just randomly realised we’ve gone green in here - admit it’s a different shade of green, but that surely isn’t fluke? 😂
After my outside #epicfail attempt 😅😅, here is my inside result.
This is constance sweater a #freesewingpattern from #sewmagazine .
It was perfect for using my leftover fabrics from two previous projects. I made size 14 and I also added pockets. I had no instructions but it came out in an afternoon.
Swipe up to see my progress when l tried to align the seams between the cuffs and the hem with the sleeves and the body.
I also made a little tag for the first time😁
Something about mixing and matching pieces that I seem to love! All of the pieces here I’ve bought over time, whilst living at different properties. It can totally come together!
Rented property inspiration - no need to buy everything new!
Sanding this diy coffee table top back to bare wood because I didn’t like the peachy tint of my previous stain job (see second picture). 🙅🏻♀️ 3rd picture was sampling new stain combos. Check out my stories to see which one I chose!
Also, I need a mask for the workshop. 😷 Any recommendations?

It's amazing how the right hardware can transform the look of furniture! I've been wanting to do this #ikeahack for some time now but couldn't find the right pull handles until recently! They add a touch of elegance to what used to be a very simple dresser from #ikea !
You know them days when you wake up determined to make a difference.....that was today!!! Gem has unfortunately been pinned back with cuddle duty as the little one is poorly today...so I've been flying solo!
1 & 2 - Undercoated bathroom window
3 - Undercoated our bedroom windows.
4 & 5 - Went mental and put a mist coat on our bedroom walls and ceiling
6 - Undercoated the architrave in our room
7 - Primed the wood parts before we construct the architrave in the youngests room.
The bathroom looks totally different now the window has gone from dark to light!
Our bedroom looks massive now...and so much brighter.

We had surprise storms ⛈ last night @chateaudebourneau which clearly infiltrated my dreams (and roof 💦 🤦🏼♀️) when Count Dracula 🧛♂️, in all his gothic horror, started flapping around our turrets 🏰 However, I was glad to see that my practical side didn’t leave me even in nightmare since I seized the opportunity to ask Dracula to check out our chimneys for falling masonry 😂 since he was already up there. Fortunately, this morning they are all still standing 🙏🏻 Thank you, Count.
This evening the storms have abated and @jbaygois is continuing with the boiserie whilst I’ve switched to upcycling the dressing table. Thank you all very much for your suggestions. I’m looking forward to showing you the result soon.
Wishing you all a lovely, storm-free evening

My new shelfs are up 😍 So happy with them! Now I need to find some cute decor for them. Put up a few things just to have something there meanwhile. It was so easy to make them and also cheap 👌
Well I did it. I finally painted the barn door TV covers!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 And I LOVE how it turned out, even though it was a little questionable there for a while 🤣🤦♀️ I went with Garden Trowel chalk paint from Magnolia & I love that it has a subtle hint of green to it. Such a fun change for this space + I love the contrast in here now 😍😍 I have more on the blog today if you’re interested! http://liketk.it/2JC59 #email@example.com#LTKhome

Here’s what we used and how we built this:
Epoxy: @ecopoxy FlowCast (formerly known as Liquid Plastic)
Form Material: HDPE (high density polyethylene)
Wood Finish: @rubiomonocoatusa Pure 2C Oil
Handheld CNC Router: @shapertools Origin
First, we built our form using HDPE. The cured epoxy doesn’t stick to the HDPE. Make sure you silicone the seams to make sure the epoxy doesn’t leak out.
After the epoxy has cured, we take it out of the form and flatten the piece using a planer (you can also use a router sled or a CNC for this step.
We used our @shapertools Origin to cut the profile/shape. You can also use a band saw/jig saw or CNC for this step.
Then we put a half inch round over on the entire edge to create a softer look and feel.
After that, we sand the piece at 80, 100, 120, 150 and 180 grit before finishing the piece using @rubiomonocoatusa Pure 2C Oil.
