Sunset lover 🌄
Story behind this picture: I saw the hind of a nice sunset from our house so I ran around like mad getting everything I need for a photo shoot together, loaded pearl up in the car, and drove out to a local nature preserve to catch the tail end of the sunset. When we got there, we just caught the tail end of it and pearl decided she did not want to look at the camera (typical pearl) so I just went with it. It was a big hectic but I got to spend some time with my girl and I got this awesome shot, so it was definitely worth it.

I 'think' Cassie may have enjoyed her explore around the forest today!! 😁😁😁 #dogwalkerlife
Xena came in on a prong collar and actually doesn't do to bad on the walk. We switched her out and put her on a smaller size. ~
Prior to us going on a walk we do what is known as a "prong collar dance". This is where we allow the dog to get used to wearing it, moving around, and feeling light pressure when they get to the end of the leash. ~
Don't ask much of your dog. Use this time to just stay in motion and get engagement. Then slowly start working on the walk in that session or the next.
Xena came in today for some basic obedience and minor behavioral issues such as jumping up on people and counter surfing. Pretty selective when it comes to doing things she knows. Her owners are looking to clean up her obedience and enjoy off leash hikes with her.

So happy to reunite Wyatt with his owners today and I look forward to watching them on their journey.

Last day for Wyatt. Really has been fun watching him grow more confident daily. In this session I'm just getting him to jump up on a box and stick his nose inside. I'm also working on e-collar communication through recall, a command he already knows.
