DragonSpeed, Hanley’s IndyCar return delayed by visa problems.
Eltion Julian’s DragonSpeed will not make the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio along with their driver Ben Hanley.
The DragonSpeed team originally intended to race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course along with the races they’ve already attempted at St. Petersburg, Barber and Indianapolis. The team also intends on running the finale at Laguna Seca.
Hanley and the No. 81 Chevrolet finished 18th at St. Pete, 21st in Alabama and 32nd at the 103rd Indianapolis 500. A driveshaft issue ended the underdog team’s day early in May.
Following the Indy 500, the team ran sportscar outings in Europe and the team has had issues attempting to re-enter the United States.
The team has been rumored to compete full-time in 2020.
