Just like plants require sunlight and water, dreams take some TLC, too! I may not have a green thumb, even though having a vase of fresh flowers in my kitchen brightens my days, but I do know what it takes to keep my dreams alive! A can-do attitude, perseverance, and, of course, hard work is all it takes to achieve even the wildest dreams! What about you? How do you nourish your dreams?
Wharariki beach and the teeny tiny town of Collingwood stole my heart in New Zealand. I absolutely love photographing sand patterns and would like to spend more time near the ocean scapes. It’s a bit cold here in Canada currently, and I can’t help but dream of those summer days in NZ. This image is two exposures blended. One for the sand pattern and one for the long exposure sky 📷☀️

Is it a trip to Wanaka without hiking the famous Roys Peak? I had a wonderful morning trudging up the hill side of this steady climb. I was so impressed by how many people do this hike. The views obviously a lovely reward to all the sweating involved 💪💁♀️

2020 has started off as a year of huge changes for me in my personal life. I almost forgot to make a New Years resolution... Photography, photography, photography. Not only is this my job that I can’t wait to grow, it’s also a form of healing where I move forward. Forever grateful for my 📷

The temps have finally lifted here in Canada for many of us. It’s now enjoyable to be out photographing and you no longer have to worry about your fingers breaking off after being outside for 30 seconds. The weather so far this year has been wild! Here is a self portrait taken at one of my favourite areas in the Shuswap. The ice patterns would have melted by now as the waves slowly eat away at them. Back to the blue dress for a bit!! 💙🥶🇨🇦

That famous jetty in Te Anau, New Zealand and some crazy dark haired lady in a yellow dress ruining the photograph 🙃

The beautiful sand dunes of Wharariki Beach in New Zealand. I thought since I’m a mountain gal that I would be drawn to the lakes and mountains of NZ, instead, it was the coastal scapes and beaches that really moved the landscape photographer in me. Do you ever take a trip that really impacts you? New Zealand was that for me. Such a special place! 😍
No where does wildflowers like New Zealand does! Beautiful displays of them almost everywhere you look. To my fellow Canadians... our summer is just around the corner! 😁☀️

Beautiful Milford Sound in New Zealand ❤️ I'm currently relaxing in Australia having just finished 12 days of exploring NZ. I can't put into words how amazing that country is. My heart is still there!! I was blown away every day by the diverse landscapes, yet always feeling like I was right at home being similar to Canada. I can't wait to dive into my images from there and figured I would start with a self-portrait (with the help from an amazing person), since this was my favourite day in NZ. I have a little bit of Australia to explore for a day and then it’s back to the frozen scapes of Canada.
