One of the best monitors out there: Apple Pro Display XDR
The monitor produces an industry-leading 1000 nits of full-screen sustained brightness and 1600 nits at its peak. It gives you the power to maintain extreme brightness without ever dimming. The result is an incredible 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and stunningly real XDR imagery.
Although it comes at a crazy price of $4999 for the Standard glass model, it is by far a future proof display.
There is also a Nano-textured version which comes in at $5999. “Nano-texture” glass is Apple’s term for its nonreflective, matte texture option.
Apple says that the nano texture is “etched into the glass at the nanometer level” to help maintain contrast on the display despite the matte finish.
I’m not gonna talk about the $999 stand ‘cause that’s just insane.
My prototype tap sensor - It’s going head-to-head with the ADXL345 MEMS accelerometer in the background. I’m interested in detecting physical taps with and a catch: the user may tap close by on the supporting surface, like a table, instead of directly on the product. So, far, my circuit is outperforming the MEMS chip. This design uses a piezo, two op amps, a low pass filter, and an I2C analog-to-digital converter. See previous post!
I used 5V red, yellow and 1 blue LED for the back lighting. Individual holes were drilled for the red and yellows, but the scope was made from a scrap bit of 20x20x20 opal acrylic block, with black heat shrink rubber around it. I blocked any leaking light with black electricians tape. The 1 blue LED was mounted into a clear piece of acrylic with a hole in it glued to the back of the opal.
Populating the custom project enclosure for the sensor simulation board. Runs on a 9 volt battery, uses a 1k pot to control the output, and has a nice set of banana jacks to allow for a wide range of connections.

Came into posession of an old circuit from the 1990's recently. It takes input signal and scales it to an output signal, this is ideal for simulating sensors. 4mA to 20mA is a standard sensor range that can be difficult to generate consistently, this circuit is ideal for just that.
