I really enjoy matching and continuing lines in photos. A fun game to play when looking at a photo is to pay attention where your eye draws to first and how it maps across a photo. It can really add to the whole composition of each shot. Their hands follow the contour of the mountain behind them, but near the side more of the earth. Their love is grounded. Their love is firm and strong as the earth behind their hands.
Experience comes to those who are willing to EXPLORE outside the box.
Daring to choose something DIFFERENT doesn’t have the same starting point as a traditional roadmap.
The hardest part can be just knowing where to start.
If you’re choosing to add a little adventure into your life, the easiest way to start is by letting go of control.
Embrace the flexibility and possibilities that the unknown elements can bring. .
ADVENTURE is the experience. Your WEDDING day is your commitment.
We’re all about blending the two. 😏
I will never forget Katie telling me one of her favorite things about Jordan was the duck lip kisses he gives her (swipe to see what I mean). She said it was so natural for him to do but it was one of her favorite things about him😭 talk about the cutest thing I’ve ever heard I swear.
Always thinking of warmer weather & I can’t help but be so happy looking through photos of these two! I already know their wedding this summer will be magical✨
Love love LOVE the way a little negative space makes the couple stand out! Don’t get me wrong, I’m ALL for a scenery in the background. Give me mountains, a sunset, some water - but wow do I love negative space too. I guess that’s what is so great about photography - there are so many ways to create something magical.
Preparem o coração!!!
Pois vem muita coisa diferente, inovadora somente para as nossas noivinhas. Em cada decoração vocês perceberão que por aqui decoramos com o coração!! E está aí mais um diferencial!!😘
O amor ilumina nossas mentes.

Oh you know, just another epic #HearnesTinyCouples climbing a mountain on their wedding day! It’s photos like these that make having two photographers so great. I was down there with them, taking photos up closer, offering a hand when needed, and showing them where we were headed. Callen ran up above us and climbed three big boulders to get this photo that really shows the scale of the place. In fact...I’d guess at least 90% of our rad tiny couples photos are Callen’s, but don’t tell him I admitted that 😉

Yesterday was such a great day meeting and working with some vendors to put on such a fun styled shoot. We are so thankful for creativity and the ability to make some crazy dreams a reality! The lesson of yesterday was ASK. Sometimes we think we won't be able to do something so we don't ask; and some of the time the answer will be no. But this styled shoot would NOT have been what it was if that assumption had stopped us! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Can't wait to share with you all some previews from yesterday!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In awe over the textures and layers of this @delarosacakes masterpiece 😍✨

Let me tell you a secret.
I had never hiked this trail before I got up and met Chris & Meredith before sunrise at Crater Lake.
But what I did know what the elevation gain per mile, the foot by foot terrain, number of switchbacks, where the views were and where I was going to place myself and the two of them. I also knew how long it would take to get up to the top of the lookout and how many breaks we might need.
It goes to show that just because some photographers haven't been to a place before, doesn't mean they don't know exactly what it'll look like. Get one that does. Ask those questions during your consult. Do your due diligence.
Please, for the love of all that's holy, get an adventure elopement photographer that knows how to research topography, has hiking experience, and will go the extra mile to arrive and scout the location in the days prior if they haven't been there (yes, I have literally hiked up mountains the day before to do a dry run and confirm any uncertain spots). You will be so much more relaxed knowing that you're ready to meet anything that comes your way on the trail. ⛰
