Engagement photos are almost just as important and wedding photos and every couple should have them done! and here's why! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. It's like practice for your big day! it gives you a chance to try out those Pinterest poses you spent hours drooling over. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. It gives you a chance to get to know your photographer better! There's nothing worse than spending your big day stressing over how your photos will turn out! Engagement photos give you a better idea of what you can expect from your photographer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Your engagement is worth celebrating and remembering! Most people are only engaged once in their lifetime, why not remember it with some kick-ass photos? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I hope these tips encourage you to do an engagement session with your photographer! and if you really want to go all-out book your hair and makeup trials the same day!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

She’s a mix of melancholy + madness.
Flowers in her hair + dirt on her feet.
A young spirit + old soul.
Jessica + Blake
Jessica is my little cousin, and we’ve always been really close. She’s always wanted to get married, and now it’s happening! This is such an exciting time in their lives, and I’m so happy for them! Can’t wait to ugly cry in April! 😻♥️♥️
What are better than these magical moments! 🍁🍂 This is a sneak peak from a recent fall engagement session we did for our lovely couple, Kimberly and Pierre-Olivier during golden hour. These fall engagement session are just so beautiful! And we absolutely love working with these two!⠀
Engagement photos. Let me talk you into it. There are many reasons why it’s important to do an engagement photo shoot once you make it official. First of all, it’s a necessity. Treat it like your first date with your wedding photographer, where you can get to know them in action and see how well you can work together. Second, having your engagement pictures taken long before your wedding can be really beneficial for both you and your wedding photographer. For you, it’s a great chance to learn something new about yourself, your good angles and the way you feel about being in front of the camera. For your wedding photographer, it’s a good opportunity to get to know you on a more personal level, build relationship and study your good sides in order to take flawless portraits on your big day! Building this first connection with your wedding photographer will make a huge difference on how your wedding photos will turn out. Believe me, knowing the person you are going to photograph really helps create better and more meaningful wedding coverage 😉 ⠀
Engagement session is also one of the most important thing you can do to prepare for your wedding photos and feel confident in front of a camera on your big day!⠀
We have some availabilities for fall engagement sessions for the next two weeks! Feel free to messages us for more details! 🤗⠀
Engagement sessions are the best times to get joyful, candid photos. On your wedding day, there can be so many stresses and so much pressure to see and talk to all of your guests. Not to mention, you’re typically wearing the most expensive suit/dress you’ll ever wear! That’s why I love getting my couples moving and laughing at e-sessions while they are entirely comfortable! Maura and Matt were all giggles from the beginning, which made capturing their love SO darn easy!

This is the busiest Monday in what feels like forever. Time-blocking for short bursts of focused attention + productivity is the onlyyyyy thing that makes me get shit done. Entrepreneurs or those who work from home, how do you keep yourself on track?
P.s. give me alllll the editorial work. I’m here for it.
Hi 👋🏻 it’s been a while. That’s a trend for me on here lately.
I’ve noticed when I fall behind on things, I avoid them completely (ie.: Instagram). Anyone with me? 🙋🏼♀️
I was talking to someone recently about how we’re constantly trying to lessen our screen time, yet taught to be active on social media to “beat the algorithm”. I constantly feel the pressure of both, but lately I’ve just said “screw it” because I know ultimately I’m never going to regret being present.
So those are my justifications I’m neglecting the platform that brings me the most business 😂.
Life update: We’re finally settled back home after a month of traveling, I just delivered my last wedding of the year, and today we’re tackling some home projects and I’m complaining about how hungry I am because I stupidly decided to do a juice cleanse.
