social: we produced a memorable wedding on a farm last weekend. the groom and his best man MADE chandeliers and two kittens kept tabs on our load in schedule. (his bride is on the other side of that door!) .
One spends with us, on average, anywhere from 6 to 18 months planning a wedding, only for it to come and go, just like that, and for us all to say, for years to come, “I wish we could go back.” The fact of the matter is, as event producers and trusted collaborators, our clients pick us and we pick them too. We really do choose each other, similar to how you choose your partner in life, and then we go on to develop an extremely close and special relationship; one that is typically reserved for the bestest of friends (and maybe your hairstylist).😁 Long story short, that long-awaited day is essentially a culmination of so many things; for us, it is so gratifying to see it come, and equally as sad to see it go. Because we know all too well that as much as we wish we could stay in that moment forever, life keeps going, and our job here is done. A friendship remains, of course, but the future is exciting and the wedding is just the beginning. So with that, Sam, Chip, and Sicily through the eyes of @marcocaputofilms. Enjoy! #chipandasammy#alisonandbryan

Filters... we view social media lives through them but they obscure so much
This is such a simple example but important. 1st is edited lightly, 2nd is the original.
When you're designing your wedding and it comes time to pick your colour palette, specially flowers, remember that majority of photos you see will have a filter on it to some degree.
There are some colours that flowers just don't exist in, or maybe only temporarily. Florists are up to the mercy of mother nature. We work with perishable, organic material that sometimes changes right before your eyes.
Trust your florist to design a colour palette that suits your vision while still working with what is possible.
I recently did a wedding which the couple wanted bright colours, hot pink etc but specifically no red. Received finished professional photos, which were absolutely stunning but affected the colour tone, changing the pink to red! And these were only lightly touched
Almost every consult, I am provided HEAVILY edited inspiration photos and need to educate my couples to ensure everyone is on the same page
Not everything you see is real... #assweetasjasmine
We can think of very few centerpieces that feel more ‘wedding’ than this one. Megan and Kevin’s garden-party inspired wedding included some of our all-time favorite blooms including these show-stopping Mother of Pearl Roses! Photo: @clarypfeiffer
Testimonials like this one remind us why we ❤ what we do. If you're an event producer you've heard this 5-star review from another well-respected event producer that we're proud to partner with.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And if you don't believe us then you better head on over to our Google reviews to see for yourself 😊

Feeling all the fall vibes this season and LOVING all the colours in the Ottawa Valley! We don’t know about you, but the changing colours always makes us feel inspired and energized
An enchanted reception installation of whispy pampas grass, dried palms and feathery ferns. We love these low-maintenance, long-lasting, magical af centerpieces! 🌾

A Nod to Tradition || I always recommend couples consider incorporating a monogram or a crest into their wedding stationery and branding, as it’s one element that can be used for decades to come to celebrate and honor your family! Whether it’s a simple letter, an illustrated monogram, or a crest filled with the details of your lives, it is such a special way to celebrate who you and your partner are. “I've been to many events planned by Amanda—from wedding weekends, to New Year's Eve parties, to shindigs in Barns—and wow, she has a gift. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity is truly remarkable. She thinks big picture, yet never misses a single detail. She anticipates potential problems most people wouldn't even think about. When it comes time for the big event, you can relax, knowing that Amanda has straightened out all, and I mean ALL, the details. You will appreciate how communicative and articulate Amanda is, keeping you in the loop and at ease. If you want an event that's organized seamlessly and with creative touches that make it feel special and memorable, I highly recommend working with Amanda. You will be blown away! -Ami S. <3”
