To this day, a year ago... Oludeniz Turkey boat cruise. The oludeniz boat trip takes through some beautiful sites in Feithye. You get to get off each site and explore the place for a little while. You can swim through the crystal clear blue caves near oludeniz. Wander deep into Butterfly valley and climb the beautiful waterfalls. You also get to visit the beautiful St Nicholas Island
Each brother had a wildebeest kill to itself. The sheer mass and size of these males was mesmerizing.
We found meters away from one another lying in the open field or under trees. Bellies so full, eyes so alive.
One by one they made their way to the nearby kopjie, calling each other until they were all seated in various areas of this massive dome of rock.
These males are habituated, but there was no denying the thrill in understanding and acknowledgement that each time these beasts made eye contact with me, I am inferior and in the company of fierce, magnificent predators.

We spent the weekend sightseeing 🧐. On Saturday, we visited the Hagia Sophia Museum (entrance is 72₺). The museum opens at 09:00am and closes at 19:00pm. The last entrance to the museum is at 18:00pm. While under some construction, the interior of the museum is beautiful. The walls of Hagia Sophia combine both Islamic art and symbols of Christianity. First a church, then a mosque and now a museum. 🏯
Right next door, you'll find Topkapi Palace. Although Google tells you Topkapi Palace closes at 18:00pm, we were advised that the last entrance was at 16:00pm. So, we moved that to Sunday and decided to take a walk through Gulhane Park, while eating grilled corn (kozde misir) 🌽I think this was 3₺. We then got on a tram and went to Eminönü 🚉where we did some tunnel shopping (that's the best way to describe it) and hopped on the sunset Bosphorus cruise. It was very pretty, but also very windy & cold ⛴️. The cruise lasted 2 hours and we were ready for supper once we got off. We gave Pasa Doner a try on our way back to the hotel and I recommend everyone give this a pass. The prices on the menu they give you vs some hidden menu they have is very different. Also, the food is not great. 👎 #travel#travelgram#holidays#sisters#girlstakeon#destination#international#igtravel#aroundtheworld#traveldiaries#bucketlist#exploretheworld#instatravel#traveller#local#international#girlstakeonturkey#beyazit#gulhane#hagiasophia#eminonu#shopping#turkey#istanbul#turkeytravel#bosphorus#pasadoner

Welcome to my palace.
This is “The Chamber of the Great Council” and is perhaps the most overwhelming and amazing room I have seen. Just sat at different spots around the room looking at all the masterpieces lining the walls and the most incredible ceiling.

For the first time in Mauritania, in a Chinese class, I saw what a Chinese family tree looks like. A little unusual was for me this version of the image: mom and dad are not parallel, but each other, the mother in third place in the family.
Moment of concentration. During my stay at Hussein's house we play a very popular game here - patches. .
Taranaki falls track you beaut! If any of you folks are galavanting around the Central Plateu, GET YOURSELVES ON THE TARANAKI FALLS TRACK !!! It’s a beautiful wee 2 hour track with this sick waterfall in the middle. The track weaves in and out of alpine tussock and native beechwood forests following a stream that offers more than just this waterfall! On a sunny day you can see mount Narahoe 🗻 (which actually looks exactly like this emoji) in all its glory! I wish I could say that this photo was 100% candid, but lemme just say that I got pretty good at covering that distance in 10 seconds...especially considering half the rocks are covered in slippery algae😂 @kathmandugear feel free to give me some money for this next level advertising. 🤙
