Matthew 18:20 says, where two or more are gathered, he is present. Galatians 6:2, “carry one another’s burdens; in this way, you will fulfill the law of christ. Hebrews 10:24-25, “be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
God puts an emphasis on community and we are required to do the same. Community isn’t negotiable, it’s necessary. 🤍

I remember this day like it was yesterday...⠀

We always prep our guys before going into an event. It’s like our own strategy meeting. And I remember talking to sweet Noah about meeting Santa for days! ⠀
⠀
Even going into the store, Noah was excited to meet Santa until the dreaded moment when I put him on Santa’s lap & this was the response! ⠀
⠀
I’ll be honest, we both laughed! In the moment, of course Noah would be the one in our fam to hate the star of the show! ⠀
⠀
But let me tell you what I learned... I learned to look at what I was asking him to do from his perspective. I was quickly putting him on a strangers lap, Noah didn’t care that it was Santa, Noah cared that his mommy quickly ran in (because there was a line) and plopped him on someone he had never met, and ran away (to get out of the picture). This picture and experience taught me to focus on my children as little people. Focus on their emotions, their thoughts, their spirituality. I try to answer every question with an unbiased answer, then give my opinion once they’ve formed their own. I try to help better them but really I’m growing too. ⠀

Mes cours de préparation à l’accouchement se finissent bientôt, ce 9ème mois pointe le bout de son nez (le plus long sans doute), j’aurais fait une première approche avec la sophrologie, la relaxation, et j’ai adoré, ma sage femme était super, d’un calme et d’une douceur admirative, que ce soit à son cabinet ou en piscine j’ai été totalement réceptive et j’ai pu ressentir un véritable lâcher prise, j’étais dans ma bulle, lors du cours sur la respiration avec la sophrologie je suis partie très loin en connexion total avec mon bébé, c’était un moment de bien être très intense, coupé du monde, du stress, de cette vie qui va à mille à l’heure, ça m’a fait beaucoup de bien. That rainy Monday I walked into yoga and set my intention to fully allow myself to breathe and let go. As we ended the practice, our teacher posed this question and my family immediately came to mind. As a young child I always saw happy couples holding hands and giggling together at the zoo or ice-skating. I always wanted that. I wanted a husband who would fully accept me and hold my hand and laugh with me. I always wanted a family: children, traditions, a Christmas tree in the window. I remember what it felt like to want these things. And now here I am. *I have everything I could ever want.*💞

For that reason, I am going to be more intentional online and spend time being present with the ones I love and looking in their eyes rather than at my phone. 🥰
