Is CURB APPEAL really that important?
By adding the double peak to the roof, the front door not only gets protection from the rain, but it also looks more appealing to buyers. Another crucial component to this homes transformation is the coloured door. Obviously in this case we went with blue, but a red or yellow would also create that “pop” effect against the white(black or a grey works too) exterior. And lastly, you MUST have money set aside for landscaping. A couple thousand dollars goes a very long way to create that beautiful curb appeal that all buyers want. Finding deals can be very difficult for both new and experienced investors. When I started investing in real estate I excelled at finding good deals off of the MLS(multiple listings service) which I sold to other investors for a fee(wholesaling). Due to the amount of people that have access to the MLS and because it’s super easy to do, competition is at an absolute maximum. This means you will get rejected quite often, but if you write enough offers eventually you’ll get one accepted. What’s important as an investor is to just make sure that you consistently write up offers, because you never know how the seller will react to it until it’s been submitted.
