Do you spy that subtle logo? 👀⠀
One of our favorite ways to personalize a product is blind imprinting. It's perfectly understated with a touch of elegance, which makes these 4x6 Print Boxes with USB unique to @erikadelgadophoto's business & to her recipients, who are no doubt impressed when they receive their images!⠀

I was speaking to @feliciesangala recently and asked her why they were so pleased with my photography services. You’ll never believe what she said! She described me as kind, patient, and someone who can find the beauty in every moment and every detail. Isn’t that just the nicest?! It’s clients like her that really keeps me going.
I’ve been working out and eating healthy/counting calories for over two weeks straight and I’ve only lost 3 lbs 😑. It would be easy to just give up and go back to my old habits. It’s so hard to change!
Starting a business can feel the same way. Slow progress and it’s REALLY HARD. Wouldn’t it be easier to just stay up all night and get more done all at once? 🍁
Nope! You can only maintain that for short periods of time before you burnout. The key is actually to not to do too much all at once. Make small changes. Set your trajectory on your goal and learn to build the habits that will get you there into your EVERY DAY ROUTINE. Of course there will be big projects that need more of your time here and there but when you have a foundation of habits built around your priorities, the sustainability of those habits is much higher. 🍂
Everyday I take the time for editing and shooting (the “active” part of my job) but I also leave at least 30 minutes for building and dreaming. That way my trajectory is still set for growth. Slow progress can be frustrating but no progress is a waste of life. And, who wants to live in the burnout zone? Certainly not me! 🍂
So, when you feel like giving up because you’ve “only” moved forward a step or two (like I feel right now with my health goals) remember the journey IS the story. And, as Tom Hanks says in A Leage if Their Own, “It’s supposed to be hard. It’s the hard that makes it great.” 🍁
Whether it’s a business, health goals, school, your job, keep stepping. Keep going. 💪🏻 Focus on the step you’re on right now. Just this. 🍁
Enjoy your day. Make it great! XO - Megan #meganhofferphotography #meganhofferfamily#ifyourehereyourefamily

Moments before this, Jennie had her first dance with her dad in the living room of her childhood home. I imagined them 20 years earlier, doing the same thing when Jennie was just a child. I am so thankful and honored to be asked to capture such fun and special memories like these 🙏🏼

D.C. has a wealth of beautiful, historic buildings! It seems like I constantly discovering new, beautiful places to photograph couples. Alexa & John got married at @longviewgallery, and we split our portrait time between Blagden Alley and Carnegie Library. I had driven past this building many times before and truly not even noticed it, and it is so beautiful! It was the perfect backdrop for their first look and portraits with loved ones.
Wedding friendors, what’s your favorite place for portraits in D.C.? I’m always looking for new ideas!
Team no sleep over here thanks to my sweet little sleeper having an off night. But as I type this caption that has nothing to do with this picture, my little one is babbling away at the ceiling fan and I can’t wait to see his giant smile!
No better feeling than hearing back from a happy client after delivering their full gallery ❤️

And just like that... my 2019 wedding season has come to a close. So grateful for all the amazing couples and families I’ve met this year, and working alongside so many talented friends and creatives. ✨
Travel season is still in full swing for me though! Engagement sessions, family trips and conferences to attend before the year ends. ✈️✈️✈️

Prepping for a quiet, intimate Thanksgiving. My kids are adulting and will all be dispersed this year, so my husband and I will be eating at home just the two of us. This is a FIRST! Shopping today for TWO instead of twelve is so strange! I’ve been hosting large groups for YEARS...I’m not sure what to do with myself. Ha!
I will relish in the peace and quiet...but will be anxious for Christmas and all the sounds of laughter and love in our home.
Family is everything ✨

These two came all the way from California to celebrate their love with friends and families in Utah and I would say they made a great choice because Utah has the most gorgeous scenery!! I loved how simple and elegant their ceremony was and all of their guest just seem so excited to be there with them!
Currently surviving this frigid weather by editing weddings, watching @disneyplus, and burning a Christmas candle from @anthropologie, I have discovered it’s a really great combo. ✨ Happy monday all 💕 Photo by @tiffaneychildsphoto
