Physique update at 10 months postpartum ✨🤱🏻Overall I’m really happy with the way my body has recovered and healed since having Noelle in February
Currently sitting at around 127lbs, which is even less than I was before getting pregnant - and I can definitely attribute that to a loss of muscle. Because honestly, ya girl hasn’t been consistent with the gym. At all. 🙈 But we’re working on it and I’m giving myself grace through this (amazing🥰) season of life. The gym will always be there, but I won’t always have this precious time with my daughter
So, nope. I’m not super lean or even back to the same level of fitness I once had, but I’m SO thankful - for this body that carried a life into the world with little to no complications during labor and delivery, that has been nourishing my little girl through breastfeeding for 10 months, and that shows me daily that true happiness isn’t attained through your physical appearance 🌻
Mam dla Was moje dzisiejsze placki na drugie śniadanie 😋 Czyli to co jest moim aktualnym numer 1 szczególnie w pracy wszystkie placuszki, omlety, naleśniki jesienią i zimą zawsze smakują mi najlepiej. Nie wiem jak Wy ale ja jem każdego dnia na zmiane z owsianką, tak mam w sezonie jesienno/zimowym i najlepiej na ciepło.
Przepis? Wiecie że ich nie lubie, zawsze kombinuje i wymieniam składniki na to co mam akurat w domu, nawet te bazowe: raz woda gazowana, raz mleko, dziś jabłko @jablka_grojeckie , innym razem banan, brzoskwinia, śliwka czy mango, raz mąka owsiana, innym razem gryczana, orkiszowa, jaglana itd.
Ja naprawdę nie korzystam z przepisów bo nie potrafię, ciągle gdzieś coś zmieniam i robię tak aby to moim domownikom smakowało, w plackach zawsze coś przemycam czego dzieci nie mówią że nie lubią 😉

When I started my journey 3 years ago I took the photo on the left and was so upset I started crying. How did I get to this point? I was so unhappy with myself and the decisions I had made that led me to top the scale at 225. I used food as therapy, rarely moved my body, and was in a deep depression with the "poor me” mentality. Truth is I was just lazy and coming up with every excuse in the book for why I couldn’t have the body and life I’d always dreamed of. I finally realized this. That I was the only one that could do it. That it wasn’t gonna happen overnight and I slowly began to make small changes to change my reality. I committed. There were plenty of stalls and setbacks but I never gave up. I had given up on myself far too many times before and I knew that wasn’t the answer. I wanted real change, and that was gonna require REAL CHANGES in my lifestyle- FOREVER. We are our only limitation. Stop believing your excuses and START DOING SOMETHING. It doesn’t matter how small. If you work hard enough, YOU CAN LITERALLY ACHIEVE ANYTHING 💜

No matter which way you feed your babe, you're a hero. ❤️ My means of feeding Beauden just so happens to be breastfeeding. That means approximately 1,800 hours dedicated to FEEDING my baby, not to mention all of the other balls I need to balance in the air. Some women feed their babies while maintaining a full time job, other women do this while staying at home managing a household and other children, some women do this as a first time mom trying to figure out what the heck she is doing. And some men do this to take a load off of the mama. Taking care of a baby takes time, energy, patience and perseverance. Don't let anyone tell you it's not a full time job. It is. And the best dang job there is, but also one of the hardest. ❤️ Please take a moment to give yourself whatever it is you need to keep on going; to keep doing the amazing job that you're doing. Whether that is a hug, a pat on the back, a break, a drink, a workout, a date night, a snuggle or more of exactly what it is you're doing. Do it! I am here to tell you that you're a rockstar. You're an all-powerful woman. And there is a special place in heaven just for you. ❤️

Today was my first day back in the gym after a week and boy did it feel good lol
Thinking back to this workout I learned that it’s mind over matter. For me it’s pushing through the pain and knowing what my end goal is.
With the weather getting cold going to the gym can be a struggle. I think about it being the perfect time to focus on your fitness goals. Not everyone will make time due to excuse of the cold weather. I’m all for mind over matter.

These statements were spoken to me by the SAME guy - an ex boyfriend - within a year. This was a long time ago. (Way before my husband and I started dating obviously.) And way before I got to a point where someone else's opinion of my body has bearing on my self worth, or opinion of myself. 🖤 These days I feel GOOD in my skin, and I’m okay with owning it. 🖤 Not because I'm PERFECT but because I choose to accept, and be grateful for all my body does for me. 💭 ♥️

I have never owned or worn white jeans/pants. Like, NEVER EVER. I always had this idea in my head that you needed to have a certain body type to wear them for them to “look good”..how awful is that?!
I’ve worked so damn hard on my weight loss and health the last three years, and maybe I still don’t have the body type I imagined you needed to have to wear the white jeans, but you know what? I’m wearing the mf jeans, because I want to, and honestly, I’m feeling a type of way today. Not mad about it 😏
Don’t wait for the “right moment” to do what you want to do when you want to. Our time is precious and we need to stop worrying about what others think. Message to myself also.

Znasz to uczucie, gdy czujesz, że bierze cię choróbsko, ale nie jest jeszcze na tyle źle, by nie móc funkcjonować?
Początkowe infekcje lub drobne przejściowe z którymi nasz organizm walczy bywają okropnie uciążliwe w czasie gdy mamy mnóstwo obowiązków i ciężko nam zrobić sobie wolne. Mamuśki małych dzieci wiedzą o tym najlepiej 👍 Ponoć mamy nie mają chorobowego 😅 Ale jednak zdrowie każdy ma tylko jedno i jest to najważniejsza dla mnie waluta zaraz obok czasu.
Chorobowe należy się każdemu, ale w okresie przeziębień możemy nasze ciało wspomóc, by szybciej doszło do siebie. Poza całym asortymentem leków, warto zacząć od tych naturalnych domowych.
Gdy mnie łapie infekcja:
- jem sporo czosnku (całe ząbki na surowo)
- pije szoty imbirowe lub imbirowo-malinowe (z książki dział jesień)
- piję dużo, najczęściej ciepłych, płynów (herbaty do których dodaję szoty imbirowe)
- w miarę możliwości śpię. Informuję domowników, ze jestem chora i idę spać na 40min, proszę by w tym czasie mi nie przeszkadzali bo dzięki temu szybciej wyzdrowieję (a na tym wszystkim zależy). Jakoś przez te 40 min mąż i brygada dają sobie radę 😉👌
- włączam nawilżacz powietrza na noc. Łagodzi przesuszone gardło, pomaga na zatkany nos, łagodzi kaszel i lepiej się wysypiam.
A few weeks ago I had someone comment on a picture from pre pregnancy telling me “you’ll never get this back”. That comment immediately made me feel a mix of emotions. Normally I brush off negativity but it really sat with me. Maybe I won’t. I’m a completely different person then compared to now. Heck I just made a human being and it’s crazy that there are people out there ready to scrutinize me 2 months after giving birth, comparing me to others that bounced back in 4 weeks. What I strive to tell everyone even before pregnancy is EVERY fitness journey is different, every postpartum journey is different, we are all different which makes human nature beautiful. Will I have a six pack again? Maybe. Will I have extra skin? Probably. Will I have stretch marks? Yes / maybe they will fade but honestly who cares. I know fitness looks so superficial and shallow but my favorite part is being able to do things like box jumps and heavy squats. I wasn’t able to for the longest time and that’s what I craved most during pregnancy that’s the “normalcy” I wanted back. Of course it would be nice to look like that again but I’ll take my body now any day because I made the sweetest baby girl. I wouldn’t trade her for the flattest tummy, biggest glutes, stretch mark free skin, literally anything, you name I’d rather have her. I never want anyone to feel the way I felt when I read that comment and if I can help, I want to. This is the new me and I’m damn proud of it.
