This is a great drill to do for anybody who plays tennis or Nordic Walks. It can be used as a warmup exercise before undertaking any strenuous cardiovascular exercise.

Today I came to the gym despite the fact my physical therapist told me not too. She wants me to find a low impact exercise until we figured out what’s wrong with my knee. I took a couple of days to contemplate what I want to do. After tonight’s workout I may need to take a break. It’s hard because I was in my way up to 5 days a week and I really like CrossFit. However it makes no sense to pay for something you can’t enjoy. I’m getting an x ray of the knee and will make a final decision then. Although I’m a little sore it felt good to workout. Of course I had modifications no jumping on this knee but I did my best. .

1. Have a plan. Before you hit the gym, you should be knowing exactly what you're gonna be doing that day.
2. Stay hydrated
3. Do not skip meals, specially your breakfast
4. Listen to music that motivates you
5. Wear comfortable clothes
6. Mental switch.
