Making the jump to light speed with @theofficial_garth in Doha. In August, we went to Doha as part of my travel series: Have Points Will Travel. The idea was to challenge ourselves to use nothing but credit card points and perks to fund EVERYTHING from the trip. We booked our Qsuites flights with 70k American miles and used the Amex platinum airline fee credit to cover the taxes, we used the Amex platinum Uber credit to get to the airport, only ate in airport lounges and on board, then booked our hotel with points and just so happened to get a hotel where a ride from the airport back to the property was complimentary. We used a $200 resort credit for most of our meals and capital one venture card points to cover the local Uber’s while in country. Total cost for a 3 day trip for 2 people in business class at a luxury hotel: $139 (not including the dune tour we did simply because we felt like we had spent virtually no money and it seemed like it would be a cool part of the video haha). And swipe to see Garrett get attacked by a swarm of flies while we were shooting sunrise.

↟ By far one of Japan’s most beautiful locations, Fushimi Inari. Even though we got here as early as we could, crowds of people were already walking through this place. Thankfully I got a split second to get a shot I’d been thinking about for a good few months leading up to the trip.
Have you been to Canada?? And if not, what comes to mind when you think of Canada or Canadians?? I’m so curious! 🇨🇦 When I travel people typically assume I’m American based on my accent. Then when I say I’m Canadian, I usually get an “oh, cool, Toronto?” type of response. Which I always reply with “no, I’m from the prettier part” 😉

It’s always like a dream to be on this little mountain for sunrise. The view is something else - straight out of a fantasy movie.
Saxon Switzerland is a hilly climbing area and national park around the Elbe valley south-east of Dresden in Saxony, Germany.
↟ Some stunning light rising over this iconic rock formation on the Jurassic Coast. I used to be pretty scared to climb this, but since I’ve been climbing for nearly a year now this seems so much easier. Ha. What a crazy cool spot to watch sun rise up on the horizon.
