8/10 This plate came with pineapple coleslaw which was really good because I’m a sucker for coleslaw. The chicken was juicy but I wasn’t a fan of the bbq jackfruit. The pink sauce was the mild sauce and It wasn’t overpowering which was a plus.

📌We were invited to the bloggers meetup at @thegardeneateryislamabad eneatery. It's a newly opened restaurant with an outdoor seating which makes it a perfect place where one can spend a cozy evening. .
📌We got to try a huge variety of their starters, burgers and steaks and each of them tasted divine.
Starting from the starters, we had 📍Chicken wings (390 pkr)
📍Loaded Nachos (390 pkr)
📍Fully loaded fries (390 pkr)
📍Butterfly Cheese strips (390 pkr)
📍Onion rings (290 pkr)
📌Chicken wings (10/10) had a perfect blend of spices. They were a little spicy but if you are a spice lover like me, then you'll totally love them as I liked them too.
📌Loaded nachos (9.5/10) were one of the best nachos I've ever had. They were loaded with cheese, chicken, olives, jalapenos and much more.
. 📌Fully loaded fries (9.5/10)were also too good! They were also topped with chicken, cheese, jalapenos and olives. .
📌Butterfly cheese strips I didnt had them so can't say anything.
📌Onion rings (10/10 )were neither oily, nor so dry and were crispy from outside.

Chicken steak costs 790 and beaf steak costs 990
📌Terragon steak was a little spicy but it was
perfect for me so I really liked it. .
📌Chicken kiev had the right amount of spices and the quantity was also quite good.
📌Mushroom steak was well cooked , but it was a little salty which ruined the whole taste.
📍Service: 7/10 (As they forgot to bring my main coarse and served it when everyone had finished their).
Mung Daal Payasam is one of my favourite traditional sweet dishes.
Effortless and quick, thick and creamy... nourishing and quite soothing... And healthy!!! Qualifies as a great dessert 😀
In south India, it's an alternative to the standard vermicelli payasam. Since this one has more body to it, I also serve it as an evening welcome dish to guests. So simple to make, that's always an additional boon!
I simply roasted some washed split mung lentils. Added water, cooked in the pressure cooker till done. Post that, I added jaggery and coconut creamed in the small grinder to a smooth paste. A pinch of salt, a dollop of ghee and roasted nuts gives it a finishing touch.
I also add a small pinch of cardamom for added flavour.
It's an ideal dish for the winter season, when hunger pangs are more pronounced! And if you are expecting guests, use coconut milk instead of ground coconut.
WARNING: Do not add the sugar/jaggery to the lentils before cooking it. I made this mistake years ago, and had to spend hours trying to get it to soften. I still remember having to serve payasam with suspiciously uncooked-looking lentils!
But if they are cooked without the sugar/jaggery, they cook in 5 minutes! What a fussy thing lentils are!! Hope you enjoy the new week!

Mango Jalapeño and Peri PERI Chicken rolls was what I had here, just by looks these are mouthwatering, the layered saucy look is a great garnish for attraction.
Both were full of excitement, the mango jalapeño was a complete stunner that had a lovely jalapeño spice with tinge of sweet mango taste to it. The peri peri roll is one of their specials that is scrumptious with the hot spicy flavour of peri peri sauce layered.
