Cucumis Pepper 🥒🌶 Le gusta subirse a mi regazo para comer un snack y yo obviamente más que feliz cuando lo hace 🥰
~Mamá humana 💙
She likes to get on my lap to eat a snack and obviously I'm more than happy when she does 🥰
~Human mom 💙
In the midst of dissertation deadline stress my biatch of a mom almost forgot it was my Gotcha Day! .
One year ago today my mom rescued me from the adoption centre. I had never lived with another pig and looked extremely bored... not sad though... i’m way sicker than your average pig...
But life here has been cool... thanks for all the love this year peasants!!!!
Hi, welcome to my guinea pig Insta! It's been a long time coming, but my compulsion to show unsolicited Pig Pics to assorted family and friends at every opportunity is getting out of hand!
I have four sons that live in what used to be my Mum's garage, living in pairs in two fleece-lined c&c cages built and sewn by yours truly.
Part One: Boo and Toby💕
🐹 Boo (left) is 5, my eldest son and an all round grumpy old man. He grumbles at everything but is the most human orientated loving boar you'll ever meet. He falls asleep on any lap in seconds (provided it's warm and he's on the soft fabrics he prefers, of course!). He was named after Boo Radley from To Kill A Mockingbird, so technically his first name is actually Arthur.
He has a perpetually crusty nose (we've had it checked by a vet, don't worry), a weird fur texture (he's ¾ rex and ¼ shorthair but the genetics didn't work in his favour, bless him) and has a habit of biting his cage bars if he's not getting enough attention. I love him dearly.
🐹 Toby (right) is about 10 months old and was born completely blind, but that doesn't stop him from being the happiest pig we've ever had the pleasure of knowing. We don't know exactly how old he is as he was rescued at roughly a month old by the wonderful people at Glynneath Guinea Pig Rescue, but we gave him November 26th as his birthday because he seemed like a Sagittarius.
He was adopted through Glynneath's excellent boar bonding service after Boo lost his old friend Jem (pigs should never be kept alone). Boo was too grumpy for a pig his age, so he was tried with some baby pigs (who are usually more accepting) and immediately latched onto Toby (probably because he's blind - blind pigs can't see how rude other guinea pigs are acting, so generally bond easier). They're now best friends. We got to name Toby as he came into the rescue without a name, so we named him after the little ginger baby from Labyrinth (you know, the one with David Bowie)
