My beautiful friend, Adri Neuper, using her Pelo&Hart hessian totebag to great effect. The embroidery is unique - no two bags look the same.

They have had some hives destroyed in the bushfires, the bees get confused in the smoke and can’t escape. Poor little fellas.

The mid-americano high has swung west of the espresso coast due to really unusually warm arabica currents. This will create perfectly balanced cappuccinos along with latte afternoon flat white conditions.

Agapanthus in these big terracotta pots are looking a bit worse for wear after the frosts - I chop them down, and add some hessian sacks filled with straw on top for insulation - I like to leave them out if possible, I've personally found that ones left out flower better the next year, and have never lost any - always enjoy seeing where the sacks have come from - these have come all the way from South America! I'm also going to raise them up of the ground with some wooden blocks.
Pink monstera on jute 🍃 These leaves are quite large at roughly 5 x 5 inches each and they each consume 7 skeins of thread per giant leaf... Yes, 7!🧶 🍃
I received a nice message about my last post mentioning the design would also look nice in satin stitch and my satin stitch defence mechanism kicked in and I had to send her a little preview of this immediately 😏 I got to have a Blue Peter “here’s one I made earlier” moment, because whilst I embroider daily I do struggle to find time to take photos! #pinkmonstera#satinstitch
