Have you ever been on a Crystal Cruise before? Where did you sail?

Nobody does holidays quite like Disney. Case in point, a recent cruise some members of Jax Mag were able to enjoy aboard the Disney Dream, which sails out of Port Canaveral. The ship is peppered with spooky (but kid friendly) decorations from stem to stern. Check out the pumpkin tree in the grand atrium! The cruise line’s “Halloween on the High Seas” festivities continue through the end of the month, before the next big holiday decor swap to Christmas. Look for an article on our Disney Dream vacation escape in the November issue of Jax Mag, and an expanded travel story on our website that month, too. #sponsored

Hello, and welcome back, it is Travel Tuesday! Today we're covering what is included in the price of an all inclusive cruise ticket.
While each cruise ship is slightly different, you can expect a typical cruise ticket to include the following:
Stateroom accommodations, breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks (there may be a charge for specialty items), entertainment, scheduled activities and youth programs.
Things that are not included as part of your cruise vacation price, are shore excursions, alcoholic beverages and the unlimited soda/juice fountains, and other on-board activities, such as casino gambling, Internet usage, spa, salon services, and tips.
Welcome back to Travel Tuesday! How to choose the right cabin, also known as a stateroom. A cabin is very much like a hotel room, but smaller.
Inside: the smallest rooms, with no window to view the outside
Outside/Oceanview: a room with a window or porthole with an outside view
Balcony: a room featuring a veranda that allows you to step outside to enjoy your own personal outside view
Suite: a larger more spacious cabin, usually with separate living/sleeping areas, and a wide array of extra amenities and perks
Now, lets talk about cabin locations:
Lower deck cabins: are usually the least expensive. They will give you a smoother ride in rough seas, but are the furthest from the common areas such as the pool and lounges.
Higher deck cabins: more expensive cabins. You're closer to the pool, lounges, and have spectacular ocean views. Because of being so high, there is more rocking motion, especially on smaller ships. Seasick/motion sick travellers should rooms on the upper deck.
Midship cabins: centrally located to all activities on the ship, and are much more stable in motion than the upper decks. Views are sometimes limited due to the location of lifeboats, and can sometimes have a lot of hallway noise from foot traffic.
Bow/Forward cabins: located at the front of the ship, and are typically suites with larger balconys. It also has the most motion on the ship, and you will have more wind and sea spray.
Aft/Rear cabins: large with an incredible panoramic views. Slightly more motion than the midship cabins, but less than the forward cabins. Balcony privacy may be limited.
