Monday Morning Quarterback: Home Ownership Sucks!
What Ms. Keesmat wrote in her piece echoes some of the thoughts that Evan Siddall had on the topic of home ownership, except Ms. Keesmat put it far more eloquently, and backed it up with explanations. Her ideas are also similar to what many of you TRB readers commented on Friday’s blog, so I figured today is the perfect time to share.

Your Earnest Money Deposit is held in an Escrow Account while being under contract to purchase a home. That account is controlled by the buyer's closing company or real estate brokerage. The money is then applied to the buyer's CD (closing disclosure) at closing.

🙃✌️💚 Many of you already know me, but since it’s been awhile, I thought I’d take a second to introduce myself. 🙃✌️💚 Ok, so here goes! I’m a Realtor helping Denver Metro peeps with buying and selling homes. One quality that helps me as a Realtor is my love for this amazing community, and the neighborhood knowledge that I’ve gained over my lifetime here in Colorado. On the weekends you will most likely find me showing homes to my clients and hanging out with friends doing pretty much anything outdoors! 🏡🏞🎣🚣♀️
Now, tell me something new about you!

Coming towards the end of my first year full time in my Real Estate career after leaving my old job, has made me realize this was one the best decisions I’ve made in my life thus far. I’ve learned and gained so much and I’m ready to continue giving it my all in 2020. This year has been a continuous work in progress for me and I’m grateful for the immense support from my family, friends, and colleagues. Not only was this my first year full time, but my best year to date in the business. And that has made it all worth it! 💯
The market is definitely not slowing down, and interest rates are at an all time low! This is a great time to buy or sell 🔥
If you or anyone you may know is interested or even considering buying or selling a home, message me today let’s chat! What does ‘home’ mean to you? // While we were cleaning the house today getting ready for our second bible study it kind of hit me that this house means so much more to me than just a “house”. // Growing up my parents were divorced and moved around the metroplex so I was constantly dealing with “who’s house is home?” Whether this was on my driver’s license, bank statements or really any form that needed an address I had to “choose” which house I considered “home”. // For the first time in my 26 years of life...I don’t have two toothbrushes, two sets of clothes or really two sets of everything having to travel back and forth between them. It’s the first time in my life that I truly feel “settled” and it’s amazing how much stress that simple fact alone has taken off me. (That’s probably why I’m also able to add on a whole new work load of events too!) // All of this to say, I’m just feeling overwhelmed with gratitude tonight. ❤️ (Maybe this meditation truly is shaping my mindset more than I realize 😆) I challenge you to take this week and find gratitude in the small moments, in the moments that we normally take for granted. It’s when we are so grateful for those little things that our world opens up for the better. I love y’all bunches and can’t wait to hear what great thing happens this week for you!
After lots and lots of deliberation, I am very excited to announce that I have decided to go back to doing real estate full-time! I am so grateful for all of the amazing relationships I got to build with my students and coworkers at the University, but it’s time to set some new goals for myself! @_b.diddy._ and I have been hustling with @azhouseman for three years now, and we really love building this business together! We are super excited to continue to work hard at creating a strong foundation for our future.
Cheers to seizing opportunity!

I'm starting the week at the top! New meetings with investors and viewings. ✨😄 I work with luxury villas in Marbella and help investors build the right property portfolio. Hard work and many late nights has brought me where I am today. I want to give all people, regardless of background, the opportunity for financial freedom. You don't have to be a millionaire today to become that in the future most people like I start from scratch. The only thing you have to have is a a clear goal and the will of a tiger. ⚡️ Are you passionate about real estate? I'm happy to connect. I am driven and love talking about investments and real estate. Do you also have a goal for 2020 to be magical !? Let’s go go! 🚀
