it’s leg day + after a decade of fit/print modeling jeans + tiny bikinis while writing cookbooks + for @shape + @womenshealthmag:
here’s how to keep them in perfect 👌🏼 A++ condition:
1- barre class: 👯♀️it’s the #1 place to keep those stems in perfect shape - lean long 💃🏽 dancer’s dent muscles. #Barre@thebarmethod@pure_barre I love them both!
2- avocado 🥑 daily: it’s no secret, Cali girls eat them everyday + look for carotenoid filled foods to keep skin healthy by nature.
3- cook with carotenoids: sorry 😐 but external creams aren’t gonna make those stems hot. I cook with carotenoids, daily: yams, sweet potatoes, spinach, kale 🥬 + eat mangoes 🥭 apricots. .
4- matcha 🍵 + collagen @vitalproteins daily: I learn from the Japanese women in my family. .
5- body brush: I use a dry body brush from a natural health store every night before bathing: circulation + lymphatic drainage A++ .
6- stretch + pilates: my friend/trainer @rksolidnyc and I agree this is key 🔑 + Rebecca says: stretch your glutes to also release your hips ⚡️ .
7- legs up the wall: this simple yoga pose helps with circulation + is super calming//relieves stress.
8-exfoliate: this is the easiest one of all: slather sugar + coconut oil together + exfoliate those hot legs while bathing.
9- deadlifts 💀: trainer @rksolidnyc swears by deadlifts + running: I have a love//hate relationship w running- so be sure to choose playlists wisely. If you want to turn heads 💀👀👀deadlifts have this side peep OMFG look men give you every time at the gym. — the key to focus on you: wear your @beatsbydre headphones 🎧 focus. .
10- cut down sugar intake: this will help to reduce inflammation + keep your energy up for all that running xx how to?: Click link in bio for my MATCHA CLEANSE: it’s easy + it’s how I’ve kept my body hot af ⚡️⚡️⚡️easy x ck
LOVE ❤️ LETTERS
Step 1 ✨ write down your problem of the day. The one that has the most energy for you.
Step 2 ✨ take a breath, and ask your higher self to write you back. The response is always loving, kind and generous. Usually you’ll hear how freaking amazing you are, even inside your problems. .
Step 3 ✨ Thank the Universe, God, Source for all the gifts in your life. Give gratitude for the things you dream of and have not yet manifested... as if it’s already done. .
This simple recipe is a great way to bring the smaller you to bigger part of YOU. The one who knows, the one who is always connected. The one who is always in the flow.
We all want an easeful life. And - in order to create life, we must be centered in the necessary friction, contraction, compression that is needed to create. This means you must put in effort to make things happen.
You say you want change. Well, what are you doing to create it?
Want to optimize your DB stiff legged deadlift?
One of the most neglected tools (imo) is the use of pelvic flexion/tilt! Having said that, it is important/useful to have a “healthy hip complex” (strength and flexibility) and in the surrounding areas like your hams, low back and core. That’s not to say that you can’t perform this movement if there is any weakness/stiffness, it will just be a lift you need to be more mindful on and start light and work your way up after you perfect your form!
So, on to the flexion. I like to think about using an anterior tilt (think “booty pop”) on the extension (lowering of the weight) to really stretch the glutes and hams. Think about tipping your glutes up to the ceiling at full extension. Then, on the contraction (way back up), I will change to a posterior tilt to really drive forward and keep tension on the glutes and hams in that phase of the movement. Notice how I also don’t go super far down on the extension and I don’t stand all the way up on the contraction, as there is nothing to contract against, so that “standing squeeze” you see people do isn’t really optimal when the weight is stacked vertically. It’s more optimal to stay in the range where tension is constant! One final note - take your time! Because you are playing wth hip flexion here, along with some delicate areas (low back/hips/hams), jerking up and down out of control is not only going to decrease your TUT (time under tension), but it may be putting you at more risk for injury if any of those areas are weak!
Hope this helps! Comment for more useful tips/vids like this! 💪🏽⭐️ #StarLifestyle#GluteExpert#HotTips#glutes#hams#stifflegDL#form#control#pelvictilt#tension#growth#muscleengagement#mindmuscleconnection@puremuscleandfitness

Let’s talk about value! A wise bloke once told me if you win a client on a deal or cheap pricing, that customer will always leave for another deal or cheap pricing... These customers will always be harder to manage with one foot out the door.
Instead, opt for winning clients based on your offering in order to build long term, mutual relationships. This could include convenience, service, quality, problem solving and much more. Of course you need to be affordable, but really think about what your strengths are and what is unique to your business and you will find pricing conversations lose their weight because you are adding a different kind of value.
Think of it this way... Do you want to be referred to other customers because you are cheap or because you add value to your customers’ lives or businesses? #marketing#marketingstrategy#constructionmarketing#trademarketing#pricingstrategy#value#smallbusiness#salesandmarketing#hottips#makemoremoney#customerservice#morningtonpeninsulabuilders

NOTE TO SELF - be prepared!
Here are a few handy hints to take note of before your dermal filler treatment.
Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and Aleve.
Avoid supplements, including St. John's Wort, Gingko biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E.
These painkillers and supplements above, may increase bruising and/or bleeding in some.
Try to come makeup free and if you’re going back to work and wish to reduce any redness (which some patients may experience) a mineral foundation can be used. Ice will be held against the injection site and the longer you can keep it against your skin, the better.
It’s important to avoid touching or rubbing the injection site as much as possible in order to avoid infection and also not shifting the product before it settles.
Fillers offer instant results but some do experience a little swelling so factor that in to your appointment scheduling. 🌸💞
The ancient theory of nutrition dates back to the time of Aristotle and Galen. They considered nutrition as a vital part of health, disease, performance, and healing. The power in each part of the body is believed to be dependent on the blood flowing to that part.
In today’s episode of Jax somewhat disjointed but hopefully useful thoughts I want to talk about sometimes feeling AAF (awkward as F***) when being photographed. Does this happen to you?
These guys were NOT at all AAF. Like, not even at all. And it made me think about why and I’ve got a few suggestions for those of you who do feel AAF (ok, I’m trying to make AAF stick...and may be over using it, but keep with me!)
⚡️They were completely focused on each other and their little babe- they weren’t fussed about my presence. They just did their thing.
It might seem easier said than done. But I’m not a loud, interfering presence, I’m pretty easy to block out....wait...is that a good thing? 🤔😆 (in this case YES!)
⚡️Touch each other, joke around, talk to each other, look at your gang, cuddle them, bring your kids fave snacks, interact with what’s around you.
⚡️AAF MEN- Men can be more AAF than anyone. They see that lens and go straight for staunch, rigid and serious. It must be intrinsically within their DNA 🤷🏻♀️... Let’s give him a job, men love jobs. Give him the baby to hold, get him to fix your hair, ask him to pick up the blanket, ask him questions, get him to tell the story about how you met. Let’s take his mind off having his photo taken. Let’s compliment him and make him laugh and feel AAF but look cute while doing it 💁🏻♀️
⚡️What are your suggestions to overcome AAF? And, to the gangs I’ve shot, is there something we did that helped you? Let me know in the comments below 🙏🏻🌞🌞
Introducing you to our gal, @ashleemarsico - her official title is Communications Executive, but we like to think of her as our PR superstar, influencer queen and ‘make stuff happen’ guru. 💫💁🏽♀️ || We sat down with Ash to discover if influencers are in fact as influential as they may seem and why brands should, or shouldn’t, work with them. “Influencers are the LinkedIn of their own social networks - they’re connected with other thought-leaders, they start conversations that build traction and just about everyone knows who they are. But like anything, there is a catch, you need to find the right influencer for your brand and this takes times. True influence is more than just reach - it’s diving in to understand who their following is, what they like, what they dislike, what excites them, what they do on the weekend, how and why they engage with that person, and of course, whether they are the right fit for your brand. Brand fit and engagement is the real measure of influence - so do your research!” || #InfluencerMarketing#MeetTeamMC#ModernCurrency#PRAgency#PRMelbourne#MarketingMelbourne#Melbourne#Marketing#SocialMedia#HotTips#MCTip

I wish I could claim beauty, skill and patience with this portrait of Keryn. Instead, I stumbled across this single frame as I walked towards the @theboathousecbr bathroom, during a spontaneous dress adjustment session.
Lesson to kids: take your camera to the bathroom 💦📸⚡️ #hottips#D5

Today: I am juggling homework, networking, taxes, and catching up on some correspondence. But yesterday, I partnered with a friend and fellow beauty pro to share some makeup #HotTips at an event. And being the super genius that I am, I didn’t even think to do more than the minimum on my own makeup 🙄
My preferences for day-to-day, is to highlight my eyes with mascara, use as little cc cream or tinted moisturizer as possible, an apricot blush, lipgloss, and slightly fill in my brows.
I prefer natural brows, and even though they aren’t *polished*, they flatter and frame my face they way they are meant to.
So here is my face, in all it’s perfect imperfection.
