A little peek at ‘the guest room’ - firstly, there’s not even a mattress on the bed yet 😅 but the room is coming together nicely! Started collecting prints etc to put on the walls (as you can see those 2 prints are just leaning against the wall!) and bits and bobs to make it homely. I’ve always loved people staying over and coming to visit so really wanted to make this room really cosy and comfy. I fell in love with my bedside tables from @homesense_ukie as I’d never seen anything like them before! I’ll take some better photos of the room when I have a mattress and it’s a bit more finished as it’s actually quite a big room 😃 I decided to go for Blackmore Vale by @valsparpaintuk and I absolutely love it 💚

So pretty but I’m having a bit of trouble with this one in LECA. When something doesn’t work in semi hydro, I either move it to water or spagnum moss and try again when roots develop more. It’s still trial and error for me. It’s worth it to me to try because I love how easy they can be in semi hydroponics. #semihydroponics#anthuriumclarinervium#passivehydroponics#aroidaddicts

Successfully helped this orchid to grow a new spike immediately after the last buds fell from the old spike, I haven’t even cut it back yet, proud #plantparent moment. Happy Sunday

Help, please! I acquired a monstera deliciciosa and a Golden Hahnii this past week. The seller generously mailed along these three (or is it two?) extra plants as freebies!
The plants are bigger than one stem each and I am letting their root systems grow in water a bit more. **Can anyone help me identify them, please?
Also, do you have any tips on care?
SPECIAL OFFER TODAY ONLY👇😁
Tomorrow I'll be taking all tropicals off the site, so to help clear out some more space I've marked down ALL the remaining tropicals up to 60%!
That includes a rhaphi, a bunch of philos and monstera, and others! Nows your last chance, I'll be leaving them up until 8am, so any orders in until then will be shipped tomorrow with the rest😊😊 Ive added a for sale tab on the site, you can see the plants here:
I kind of like the fact that my Angel Wings are a bit beat up. The two big leaves were knocked around a bit when it was mailed to me, but they’ve held up just fine and are now producing fantastic flowers and impressive new leaves. 🌿 Once again, learning life lessons through nature... #angelwingbegonia
We are so thrilled to be among the first to carry the Avocado Vase, which was introduced just last month by London’s Ilex Studio.
As Ilex designer Ed Spurr states “We have refined the traditional method of growing, skipping the toothpicks, and utilizing the opening to cradle the seed keeping it dry as it sprouts and encouraging the roots to flourish freely. The sinuously shaped
vase magnifies the roots as they prosper; creating a perfect focal point to witness the plant as it develops.”
“The vase includes a 36-page instruction and reference handbook, which thoughtfully guides the user with detailed steps for germinating the seed and growing the avocado plant. Enclosed are useful tips and advice on the subjects of water, light, pruning and re-potting. Additionally, there are historical references and artistic inspirations.
The packaging is printed on recycled card.”
Really, it’s such a lovely design and well-thought out product from beginning to end—what a fun and beautiful way to witness the magic of plant development from the very start!

My little happy place 🌿 how do you stop buying houseplants? Do you run out of room? Do you stop after you have one of each??? Are they like tortilla chips?? When does it end?
This beautiful #asparagusfern is, unfortunately, toxic for your pets. "The toxic agent in the plant is sapogenin — a steroid found in a variety of plants. If a dog or cat ingests the berries of this plant, vomiting, diarrhea and/or abdominal pain can occur." (Source: https://bit.ly/2m5f3NO)
