Workout Wednesday!!! .
This is a old clip of me deadlift in the offseason last year . I have seen alot of content about deadlifts lately and how they think that it makes that waistline huge .I can tell you one thing it has not made mine huge. Its made me stronger and made me kill my back and central nervous system . I found that my upper body has become thicker just from adding in different types of deadlifts to my back workout.
The conventional deadlift is one of the most popular exercises seen in the gym because, it hits all the major muscle groups. It helps build muscle, increases fat burning, grip strength, cardio health and much more. Because of this, you’ll need the perfect set-up to master the technique; follow these 8 steps to perform a proper conventional deadlift:
Step up to the barbell with your feet angled slightly outward and your feet in the proper stance distance. You should see the top of your foot directly under the bar. If you’re wearing shoes, it’s lined with the middle lace
Bend over and grasp the barbell with your hands shoulder width apart
Bend your knees slightly so that the bar is almost grazing the shins
Find neutral spine. Engage your glutei and brace the core
Pick up the bar. Remember this cue: press your feet down into the ground and use the back body - hamstrings, glutes, and your back muscles - to draw yourself up to standing
Continue pressing down through the heels/. The barbell should naturally rise as you right yourself, running up along the shins to the knees
As the barbell passes the knees, you can start to push through the hips and stand up straight. Remember:keep a natural spine
Reverse the entire movement until the bar can return rest on the floor

Most first times because they are first times are harder, more difficult, and can make us feel uncomfortable. They have a higher risk factor of failure, and embarrassment. They can basically suck. And that's to be expected and the very reason for doing new things.
After seven years of living a life on a journey of first times and new experiences, I love the moments of feeling awkward, uncomfortable, and being in the unknown. I love those moments because they connect me with the feelings of being alive, of concsciously living, exploring and learning. I also know what's on the other side. I've experienced so many times the joy, pleasure, and satisfaction of getting through a first time and doing something for the first time.

JUST SAY WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY
At the start of your presentation or speech, do you find that you introduce with this line, “I want to say…” or “I would like to say”?
In my first year in the university, as part of a course requirement, we had to do presentations. When it was my turn, I was certain I had the best presentation in the room. When the lecturer, a certain doctor, asked me to begin, I tried to. I remember saying, “I’ll like to say…” He interrupted and said, “so say”. I thought he was being funny and started over. He interrupted again. At this point, I responded to him and said, “Well, I’m trying to say what I want to say”, to which he said, “Just say what you have to say. There’s no need to announce that you want to say something. You standing there in front of us already depicts that.” I learnt a big lesson that day.
In the words of that kind doctor, just say what you have to say. Do not begin your presentation by saying that you would like to say something. It diminishes the impact of your speech or presentation. It keeps your listeners anticipating at a time when you should be connecting with them. Begin by introducing the main or argument. Get right into it. Hit the nail on the head. Your audience will appreciate that.

Lantion levein ympärysmitta tarvitaan, jotta sovitettava tai mittatilauksena tilattava vaate nousee vartalollesi ylös asti. Vartalon mittaamisesta luistaminen, muutaman sentinkin verran, saattaa aiheuttaa huomattavia istuvuusongelmia, kuten sen, että vaate ei nouse haarasaumasta ylös asti. Kun mitat on otettu oikein, vaatekin voi toimia oikein ja tuntua mukavalta jalassa. 🙂👍🏻
Esimerkiksi farkkujen tekninen toimivuus ja lantion eri levyiset mitat saadaan toteutettua vyötärökaitaleen, muotolaskosten, vetoketjun ja napin ansiosta. Puettaessa vetoketju ja nappi pidetään auki, jotta lantion levein kohta saadaan istutettua housuissa oikealle paikalleen. Pukemisen jälkeen vetoketju ja nappi suljetaan, mikä kiristää vyötärön oikealle kireydelle. Vyötärön oikea kireys takaakin parhaiten sen, että farkut pysyvät jalassa. 👖👖👖
Vyötärön ympärys onkin farkkuja ostaessa se kohta, johon nimensäkin mukaisesti farkkujen vyötärökaitale nousee. Farkkujen malli vaikuttaa sen vyötärökaitaleen korkeuteen, on korkea- ja matalavyötäröisiä farkkuja, joten vyötärön ympärystä mitatessa on erityisen tärkeää tarkastaa vyötärön korkeus. Vyötärön korkeus voidaan ilmoittaa summittaisesti, esimerkiksi "navan kohdilta", mutta tarkin mitta vyötärökaitaleen korkeudelle saadaan jos sen korkeus ilmoitetaan haarasaumasta ylöspäin. Vyötärön korkeus haarasaumasta tulee myös ilmoittaa erikseen edestä ja takaa, koska luonnollisesti haarasauman "koukku" tulee olla takana pidempi. 🙂 .

💡👩🏼🎨 ✅ • HOW-TO stretch any piece of paper for painting💡 •
I have been using this quick & easy method to create a painting surface for 10 years! It’s the best way to make a cheap and durable surface that won’t wrinkle. Great for creating works on paper that can later be mounted / framed or placed in sketchbooks etc. 📌 You’ll need : a wooden board, sticky gum tape, a cloth, a bowl of water and whatever paper / card you’re using. ▪️Step by step method:
1. Cut 4 pieces of gum tape according to the size of hot paper’s edges
2. Drench a cloth in the water and soak the piece of paper fully on both sides (It should be wet through but not so much that it’s dripping)
3. Wet the sticky side of the pieces of gum tape and place them sticky side down covering about a centimetre of the paper and the rest overlapping onto the board.
4. Use the damp cloth to wet the back of the gum tape and gently rub it all over to securely seal the tape and paper down.
5. Give it an hour or two to dry completely before painting upon it.
And now we review together the Spaghetti etiquette !! 🍝🍝🍝 So, who here is still saying it’s with the fork and spoon ? The traditional - and elegant - way is ... with the fork only ! This week’s 🎥 tutorial, “Picking Up Stitches to Rip Back,” practically fell into my lap...
I’ve had to rip back the top half of my #tegnasweater twice now. 🤦🏼♀️ I made two different errors within a couple days, lol. When past projects have gone awry, I would keep knitting just HOPING that things with “work out”. They never do! 🤣
I’ve learned it’s better to stop and fix things immediately. This way I have fewer knitting regrets and more finishes that I’ll actually wear. The repair is always worth it! 💪🏻
