This has been my home screen for more than a year now. I doodled the drawing over a photo I took with my phone. I made it in a time when I realised that if I were to get anywhere in life I would need Jesus more than anything. I need to humbly depend on Him. And it is still my daily reminder. And He still is faithful to be close to me and pull me through each day. I am grateful for this hand-holding tight rope where there is one way forward: His way.
Ego and humility!
I decided to start wearing pants during my yoga practice because of my last yoga post!
Normally I would never wear these leg prisons but I witnessed myself become uneasy at sharing skin online...as if that could be viewed, I could be viewed, in ways that are not truly reflective to my intent. #crowpose taught me a lot a few years ago! And so this felt like an appropriate #asana for this line of thought.
While tree planting in #NorthernBC , I would practice yoga every morning and night in the privacy of my little tent clearing.
When asked to share my practice with a beginning, I chose to demonstrate crow.
Knowing full well that it would look “cool” or be admired by my friend.
Well, for the first and last time (to date) I completely fell out of crow.
I put my tooth through my lip and was bleeding out the necessary lessons in #ego and #humility I called for in that moment. 😑🙈 My previous yoga photo reminded my of this lesson. Even though we are all free to wear what we wish and present how we want — I do not want my skin to be what is admired, “cool” or likeable about my message. Or if it is, I aim for it to be complimentary to my intent, as a supporting role but not a focus.
Body positive all the way.
But if I am being #honest and #accountable to what I know to be true for my path — then dangit, I’ll chuck on some pants here and there! Lol 🙈
CHORUS- The revolution's here (yeah)
No one can lead you off your path (uh uh)
You'll try to change the world
So please excuse me while I laugh (ha ha, ha ha)
No one can change your ways
No one can lead you off your path (uh uh)
You'll try to change the world ('scuse me)
So please excuse me while I laugh. #GOOD OVER evil# #GOD ’s-GRACE ALL-THE-WAY🙏# #CHANGE THE WORLD POSITIVELY(IN A GOOD-WAY)# #IF YOU DON’T PROGRAM YOUR-MIND,It will be programmed for you# #HUMBLE -KINGS# #ALEX # #ALMIGHTY -GOD(GOOD)1st#

Have you ever felt this? Loyalty is everything. Without trust in any type of relationship, it won’t grow and we won’t either. #YouCanHaveSuccess

Humility is a trait mentioned throughout Scripture as being important to God. Here, Jesus tells us exactly how important it is. But in the business world, humility is sometimes misinterpreted as timidity or even weakness.
So, what does Godly humility look like at work? How does the Christian business professional honor God with our attitude while showing our value and achievements at work?
Firstly, there is nothing wrong with making sure one’s superiors know and understand the work we do and the value we bring. In fact, it is important that they do. But, there are ways to do this without being braggadocios or arrogant. Here are three simple things each of us can strive for.
1. Share the credit for a job well done - acknowledge the internal team members and external experts who contributed to the success.
2. Stick to the facts - the communication should be more about the achievement and less about how smart I was or how hard I worked in delivering it.
3. Sometimes it’s best to let your good work speak for itself, especially when you work for supportive and perceptive people.
Not only is humility important to God, it is one of the traits I admire most in many of the good people with whom I work every day. And, a humble spirit can open the door for a discussion of What and Who is truly most important - part of your “walking witness” as a Christian.
Soli DEO Gloria!

This is the path that society and culture to tell us to take, but the fact is you decide the steps and path that you want to take that will lead to your ultimate happiness and fulfillment. Don’t let anyone else decide that for you. #YouCanHaveSuccess 📷@reganhillyer

There’s no one correct path to success. Some people love working at night and others are early risers. All that matters is that you find out how you best operate and make the most out of whatever time you do have. #YouCanHaveSuccess@danschawbel

When you focus on your own shit, you don’t waste time judging others and you won’t hurt yourself in the process. Double tap if you’re someone who minds their own business. #YouCanHaveSuccess

I had a lot of people message me saying “Pascal doesn’t deserve to be an All-Star starter”. What are your thoughts on this statement?
I don’t want to make this into a negative post because Pascal truly deserves this honor but I’m really interested to hear and see why people don’t respect Pascal being a starter in this years all star game. (Original from @bleacherreport/Twitter)
