This is such a natural pool
This lake was created due to a massive landslide in 2010 and destroyed 19km of Karakoram Highway (KKH). Now the realigned KKH runs through a series of tunnels. . .
Here I am again at Eagles Nest in the end of July 2k19.
It's one of my favorite spots for perfect dawn and dusk. 🌞
It presents an amazingly beautiful landscape for dazzling sunrise and sunset. You can cherish the sights of Rakaposhi, Lady finger, The Golden Peak and other Peaks altogether in one gaze shift. It's like a perfect view point in the middle of mightly peaks. 🏔️ I suggest you must spend atleast an hour to witness the glory of sunshine on the snow capped peaks. The sight of such aesthetic nature keeps the hold of your eyes longer that you had expected. It takes away all your painful thoughts for sometime and allows you rejuvenatue yourself amidst the magnificent landscape. 🌌
There are huge stones placed over there which are fun to climb and makes you feel accomplished for a moment in your troublesome life. Those huge stones from medival age add flavor to your joy and relaxation. 🧘 Must opt for camping if you can, it's worth a night stay! 🏕️ Do visit either for sunrise or for sunset. I have visitied in both times and found the place equally magical but experienced different feelings which are worth recalling.🌠 Trust me you won't be disappointed if you visit it in favorable weather conditions. It's completely worth traveling a few miles. 🚌
Geekinpink at Attabad Lake. Hunza. 🇵🇰❤ ."Attabad Lake is the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. It looked like the big blue sky fell on top of Gojal Valley. Underneath the cerulean blue water, lies dozens of homes and hundreds of trees.
In 2010, a massive landslide buried and flooded villages, drowning more than 14km of land including part of the Karakoram highway. This beautiful tragedy is now a popular tourist attraction, with vendors offering boat rides, jet skis and even lakeside view glamping.
For 40 minutes and just 2000 rupees, you can rent a private boat and go around the lake. Or you can join the hordes of domestic tourists for a shared ride at just 150 rupees.
I came to this stunning spot a few times and each time was with different people, different stories. One of my favourites was definitely driving down the highway, the 8th wonder of the world with my driver now a passenger constantly laughing and exclaiming "You're a dangerous driver. You're a dangerous woman." .
