The Chaturbhuj Temple is the most imposing and magnificent structure in Orchha and is one of the ancient architectural marvels of that time . It was built by king Madhukar in between the years 1558 and 1573. The temple houses an idol of Lord Vishnu with four arms but was originally meant for Lord Rama’s idol.
I did this traditional and floral mandala design on myself two weeks ago in india.
Missing all the fun, shopping and food from india.
Have you ever been to India? What are the three main things you can’t stop yourself from doing when in india?
I think more and more each time, I am learning to embrace the currents, go with the flow, and as long as I am able to flow I will continue go grow.
The ocean reminds me that everything comes in waves, that inner turbulence and storms lead to calmness, and how everything is interconnected in this existence.
I feel carried by deep inner blue waves of trust, in this trust, in this faith, I can surrender, and it is in these moments of releasing, of letting go of expectations and outcomes, it is in these moments of surrendering I find peace, I feel free.
This flowing with the currents and waves of life is nourishing my energy and soul. And I have have faith that they will carry me back home, regardless of the time it takes, to reside in that real, eternal and divine abode of Truth and Pure Love in the heart💙 .
Most street dogs are patient, sweet and highly aware of their surroundings. They are wary but unafraid, for the most part, of traffic. These dogs dodge a tour bus or cargo truck at the last split second. They’ll chase cars, motorcycles and even people if they find them to be a threat. Sometimes they’ll jump on you, sometimes they’ll want affection, but most of all they want to be fed. They’ll quietly wait at dhaba stands only because they’ve been shooed away with sticks and rocks. They are like small statues just outside the boundaries of a queue of customers. You’ll see them night and day poised in their spot watching for any opportunity that comes their way. .

जय कराला वदने जयति, जगाता मातु विख्याता
Victory to you, O Mahakali! - To you Victory,
The primordial source of all beings - Victory!
The formidable-looking goddess - To you Victory,
Renowned as the Mother of the world - Victory!

“Everything in the world was my Guru”.
I had some resistance to leaving my routine and comfort in Amritapuri but how could I miss a chance to visit Shiva’s sacred abode with my beloved SatGuru? They say if you even think of Tiruvannāmalai at the time of death you will attain Mukti (merge with the Divine & not have the take another birth). Spent the early morning soaking in the sacred depths of the Ramana ashram temples followed by walking barefoot stone by stone (at record slow speed) up Arunachala. There are no words really ...and there’s a whole story that I will share in a more private context. My sister sweetly captured my bliss when I had made it back to the main road. Even a mere 24 hours on such holy ground can change you forever. #india
