I haven't been keeping on my posting because I've been working on some new arrangements for all these babies. This Thai hasn't put out a new leaf in a little while but the one that came in before Christmas has grown so much! It's getting so big. 😊
Got a Philodendron plowmanii from the July 2019 Grow and Show (LAST PIC). This was one of my first aroids. 💚
It was doing well for months under the shaded area behind my room along with my other plants. However, I had to transfer them to the garden, since I had to make space for my caviary extension.
While receiving direct morning sun did some of my plants really well, this one was along with the few precious ones that had its leaves burnt. And it's been downhill simce then--AS IN I WAS LEFT WITH PLANTLESS POTS.
Anyway, I uprooted these "empty" pots and replanted the rooted stems beneath.
To date, this plowmanii is giving me its 3rd leaf for its 2nd life. 🌱
This Interior Installation turned out Beautifully. ❤🌿🥰
All of the contrasting foliage really helps brighten up the area.🌞🌱
Interior planting is a great way to enhance your indoor space. 🌴🌵
SWIPE to see the before photo!
Plant Update: when I brought this Croton Petra home I was a bit hesitant. I had read that they are extremely picky about their setup; needing 6-8 hours of bright indirect light, a warm humid environment and special attention to their watering cycle. Well after a solid two weeks I’m happy to report we have A LOT of new growth sprouting all over the place on this guy! Whatever I’m doing ... I better keep doing it. 🌱 Any Croton advise I should follow?
My pilea has lots of babies sprouting up! 👶🌱😀 I got this #pileapeperomioides last fall at a local plant sale day. It was the first one I've ever seen for sale in person, so I had to get it! #houseplants
