Tonight’s release is titled “The Batchelor” by Trevor Pottelberg, featuring a beautiful buck standing under a gentle falling snow, as he looks for a doe to win over.
If you love wildlife or know of someone who does, please share with them.
Enjoy your evening and be safe on the roads tonight if you live in Southern Ontario. #ontario

Because next to you I feel safe .... 🤎
Visiting Abraham lake was the only thing that was not on our Canada list.... but every trip we allow ourselves that, we challenge ourselves to discover one of those hidden gems.... to actually go off the beaten path and see what’s on the other side. 🗺
So we were driving back from Jasper to Banff and because we’ve already seen all the attractions along the way driving into Jasper -and because we were two hours before sunset and didn’t want to just head over to the hotel- we decided to detour a little when we saw the sign for Nordegg.
I said let’s go this way, for some reasons this name sounds familiar I’ve seen it tagged by my Canadian Ig friends. 😬
Drove about 50 mile, got impressed by the dramatic stunning Mountain View’s all around and started to see this lake on the right hand side and a couple of cars stopped on the side of the road here and there. 🚗
We finally stopped and decided to check it out. wow.... a frozen lake where they actually drive cars over it to the middle of the lake. Crazy, isn’t it! 😆
We drove a little furter and next stop was mind blowing, a frozen unique blue color lake.... that has some white bubbles in it. 🤔
Quickly started to read about it- to find out that it is man-made lake due to a dam which helps control water drainage and flow from the Rockies and it turns into the infamous ice bubble lake that people from all over have come to photograph.... wow this is my place!!! 🙌🏼
Spent two magical hours here, captured some amazing sunset pics and so happy we got our hidden gem spot checked off! 🤑

Can you believe winter is almost over? 🥺 I mean, the season might be close to end, but the cold... well, it’s Canada, right? What did you like the most about this winter season? Have you visited any ski resort? Did you build lots of snowman? Have you travelled or decided to hibernate? There’s still a few more weeks, so I hope you decide to get outside and embrace the season! :)
You can’t go to Canada without picking up a butter tart or two. ♥️
The first time I tried a butter tart was when I was in Canada about five years ago and I had never heard of them and had no idea they were a traditional Canadian pastry, but I still remember how different they were from anything I had ever tasted and I fell in love. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This trip I did my research and found The Queen’s Tarts downtown and knew I had to make it there. I tried their classic and the maple walnut flavors which were both just perfect. I could eat the classic over and over again but they also had so many different flavors to choose from..maple whiskey bacon, creme brûlée, blueberry. Seriously so many. Stopping here next time I’m in the area to try the cinnamon raisin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have you ever tried a Canadian butter tart?

Design is at it’s best when it’s not visible to the naked eye. You can hardly ever notice the density of Vancouver.
There is a lot of thought put into the design and planning of the city layout because the design of the city lives for a long time. The fraction of time over usage is highest amongst any other type or form of design - at least 100 years.
Misty mountains in Hope ⛰ Tomorrow I will be heading to an exciting destination near Salmon Arm, and I’m in need of some recommendations for the must see spots in this area. I can’t wait to share exactly where we are going so stay tuned!

Foggy Backroads ☁️’
These are some of my favourite conditions to film/shoot in. There’s a peaceful feeling in the quiet forest that keeps me wanting to go back and hike again. Really looking forward to some new locations this year. Hope everyone’s having a great start to the week 🙌
