Sleep training update: it’s day 4, and Jude slept 12 hours last night 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Honestly, I’m in complete shock...still a bit sleep deprived, and don’t wanna jinx anything just yet— but we’re gonna making it!
He cried out about 4-5 times during the night, but I didn’t have to offer his paci or comfort him one time. He self soothed himself back to sleep and slept until 9:30 😳
If you’re questioning sleep training, do it. I learned my lesson with Adam and to this day he’s not a great sleeper.
I know all children are different...but I’m a big fan of this sleep training method I’ve been using!

Fresh hair, who dis?💁🏼♀️I mean is there anything better🙌🏼If you’ve been with me for a while, you know I kinda love the word “fresh.” Fresh start, fresh thoughts, fresh armpits(🤷🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🤣) Ok maybe not the last one, unless you are still my friend from 8th grade and remember my phase of having the worst BO you have ever smelled and sweating profusely through all my shirts and jackets! First night of sleep training complete 🙌🏼 we survived, kind of. Living off coffee and snuggles today.
There are going to be a lottttt of opinions on this topic, but here goes:
Luke was a terrible sleeper, but I was working overnights. He eventually found his way and he’s now a very consistent sleeper and is up at 7:30 am like clockwork.
Eden is my rockstar sleeper. She slept in the crib the longest and I never had any issues with her. Today, she’ll go down when Luke does and sleep until 9:30-10 am if we left her.
Adam..... oh, Adam. I lived with guilt and PTSD with Adam’s RSV. I honestly was terrified he’d stop breathing in the middle of the night so I co-slept with him and held him... and before I knew it, he was 18 months old. He’s still our worst sleeper 😬
I’m not judging co-sleeping or crying it out or whatever method you use. I’m already getting mixed messages on this topic, but I’m choosing to sleep train Jude now.
Today is rough, I want to lay down in bed and cry I’m so tired... but we’re gonna make it through! After all, I’m ready to sleep with 3 am again 😂👏🏼✌🏼
