Work conversations on a Monday: “Good morning! How are you doing?”
“Morning, I’m doing well thanks and your self?”
“Good thank you and you? How was your weekend?”
“Good good. My weekend was good, just too short.” “It’s always too short.” “Let’s have another weekend.” (This happens every Monday)
"The Stories We've Told" - February 2020. One of the best things about the desert is examining the geology of the area. Since there is little to no vegetation it's easy to see our bare planet without obstruction. It's as if we can read the history of our planet like pages in a book. The visible strata in the hillsides is a most obvious example. But even up close one can often notice the history unfold in the subtle intricacies visible on the desert floor. Here you can see cracks in the silt of what was once the bed of a freshwater lake, now engulfed in large sand dunes. Near the edges of these dunes the cracked soil still reveals itself in some spots. When my friend @frankcolosiphotography and I set out before dawn to photograph the sunrise we found ourselves wandering around this section of Death Valley in the dark trying to find a composition. It wasn't until the sun had began to shine that I realized the very ground around us makes a pretty great subject.

'Destiny translates to “Sarnevesht” in Farsi, which literally means written on head.
The series of DESTINIES I worked on a couple of years ago, explored themes of gender and human rights. Coming back to #Destiny or سرنوشت#' #maralbolouri
