Things are really shitty here in this part of the city I live in now.
There's barely any signs of hope or positivity.
I'm alone in my perspective and beliefs, alone in my purpose.
Amazingly...amidst the darkness, I'm finding my voice again.
It's vibration is like The LOTR Light of Earandil.
Being the force that shines to fight the demons, when all other lights go out.
I DO know why the caged bird sings:
She sings of her time that is to come.
She sings of her escape.
When her cage is only a memory, fading in the rear view mirror.
Out of breath, dripping sweat, legs on fire....and having the time of my life. Being embodied means you feel it all. And I think what makes intense exercise so powerful is that we get to practice feeling into all the discomfort that it comes with... and we're literally teaching our primal brain that the discomfort ain't going to kill us.In fact... quite the opposite. It puts us more deeply INTO our own embodied experience. ⠀
More connected to our human-ness. ⠀
There's nothing more "in the moment" than your lungs and legs on fire while sweat drips into your eyes. ⠀
I remember hearing my love sex relationship teacher/mentor tell me and my whole class something I found very powerful.⠀
Even though she's a tantric master and meditation guru and her brand reflects her genius.... she said that while she was building her business working crazy hours to get it off the ground...she had one non-negotiable.⠀
What was that one non-negotiable? Getting to the gym. Sweating. Getting her workout on. ⠀
She knew the power that movement had to balance her body-mind-spirit even when she was the busiest. Yet for most of us...it's the first thing that gets cancelled off the calendar.⠀

24 of some of the UK’s fittest women and 24 of some of the UK’s fittest men battling it out in five intense workouts throughout the day.
This was by far the toughest competition I’ve done so far and made me physically vomit, collapse multiple times after each workout and want to give up but I completed them all and for once my goal wasn’t to win but to get through each workout and compete against myself.
Well done to everyone who took part, there was so much camaraderie and support and it didn’t feel like a competition but a bunch of friends working out together.
It was incredible to have #UARUSH customise each of the athletes kit as I believe in the product and the science behind it’s performance enhancing collection. Plus we all looked insane!
I have so many exciting things happening in the pipeline but for now I’m going to take a few days off to rest and come back stronger and more focused for the next competition and physical challenges.

It was the first time I managed to see a @turfgames competition and was to see the top athletes of London sweat to be the fittest of the city.
It was incredible to see the amazing community built around these demanding games and witnessing how all of the athletes supported each other gave me goosebumps 💙
I was there to support @fred_fit_ - creator of #FredFinishers - who managed to end the competition on the 11th position!! Well done Fred! Epic work 🔝⭐️
Amazing day competing at The @turfgames Fittest In The City. 24 males & 24 females battled it out and just WOW! The energy & support was phenom ❤️ * Going in to it, believing I had the wildcard invite, I got myself in to the mindset that it was a dang privilege to be there.. PMA .. It was simply about pushing myself, taking in the whole experience & more importantly having a great time doing it
I was up against THE best of the best in the industry, it wasn’t about winning or for a social boost or any other kind of gain it was simply about stepping outside of my comfort zone and giving it 💯
That I did & honestly (something you will rarely ever hear me say) I am so proud of myself.
Cannot but be happy with my performance.

Today is day 69 of #75hard .
I was having a very stressful moment, so I decided to turn to the work.
I went for a run.
But I’m fucking crazy, so I wanted to test myself by going on a solid trail run in my Xero Sandals. (@xeroshoes)
The stress is still there to a degree, but significantly less.
I feel accomplished because I completed the challenge and did the work.
I’m going to use the momentum of this win to get the next win.
At times, all we can do I focus on what’s right in front of us, do the work, and use that win to build on the the next.
Not focus on tomorrow, or next month or, next year.
Focus on what you have in front of you, right NOW.
Then, win tomorrow.
Keep stacking up wins and before you know it, you’ll look up from the work and have a life others dream of.

The moon itself changes and on those few nights, it does something we consider beautiful and picture worth. My question to you guys, if the moon can shine, why can’t you? What’s stopping you from being you? You’re authentic self? #

Heute in 4 Wochen ist Tag X. Dann zählt es. Meine Fitness. Mein Trainingsstand. Mein Wille. Heute in 4 Wochen heißt es #derdomistdasziel beim Halbmarathon in Köln auf den ich nun seit 7 Wochen gezielt hin trainiere. Ich freue mich drauf, bin aber definitiv immer noch einfach gespannt wie es laufen wird, denn mein längsten Lauf bis dato hatte ich heute. 16km lockerer Dauerlauf. Nüchtern, am frühen Morgen. Bis auf drei Wildschweine die mir mal wieder den Weg kreuzten lief es echt richtig gut. ⠀
Wenn ich in dieser App nach rechts und links schaue, sind 16 km zu diesem Trainingszeitpunkt nicht viel. Ich bin trotzdem voll bei mir, vertraue auf mich und meinen Körper und weiß, dass es am 13. Oktober definitiv nicht an meinem Willen liegen wird. ⠀
