Some photos that might inspire you to hike the Sulphur Skyline Trail in Jasper NP.
Motivation for this trail? The Miette Hot Springs at the base. Nothing like a soak after a hard hike.👌🏻
This trail was a constant incline and gets super steep after the false summit but the views are pretty spectacular!
We reached the top mid day so the light just killed my photos but I wanted to highlight the trail anyway in case you might want to hike it too!
***The last photo of stats is only one way. The sign estimates it takes 4-6 hours to hike. We crushed it in 2 hours and 15 minutes. That's what motivation gets ya. 👊🏻
The beautiful Maligne Lake Boathouse, surrounded by blue waters and picturesque mountains 🏞.
If your visiting Jasper National Park make your sure you spend a day at Maligne Lake. Perfect spot for a picnic and a bit of canoeing while enjoying the spectacular mountains of Canada !!
It’s almost race season again!! 😊•
If you don’t know this about me, I LOVE running! I’m the weird one who loves cardio, loves running, and loves pushing myself to run constantly for an hour without stopping. Races honestly make me super anxious where all these negative thoughts spill into my head about how “i can’t do it” or “I’m not fast enough” or “what if I can’t finish the race?”. Well let me tell you one thing. There has never been a time that I haven’t been able to finish a race, no matter how hard it was. I don’t race to win, I race to feel that high of crossing the finish line, I race to feel accomplished of setting out a goal and physically seeing it be accomplished, and of course I race to get all the sweet treats afterwards (bring on all the fruit and peanut butter 😉). I always win over my brain, and I always feel so good when I conquer my fears! •
First stop: jasper 10K in April! And I mean, there really is nothing better than running through the Canadian Rockies 🏔 #runningaddict#runningcommunity#jasper10K#jaspernationalpark#racetraining#nikeaddict#eatsleeprunrepeat
This was taken on the frozen Malign Lake! I love the untouched white expanse!

J A S P E R N A T I O N A L P A R K you were beautiful to us! We had such an incredible weekend exploring together with friends.
We hiked, skated, swam, skied, snowboarded, played games, ate great food, read wonderful books, and just had a wonderful weekend away.
Today I woke up sore, but with a full heart. Grateful for our family, for friends, for the beautiful wilderness, for water, for a body that I can move.
Thank you, Lord.
Do you ever sit back and realize you have been stagnant? Or lazy? I mean yes there are times we all need REST. But there comes a time where we need to realize that many of us have the ability to THRIVE. To help others, to serve, to give, to love, to move.
I feel like I have been a bit stagnant and lazy lately. Like I’m not using my full potential and that’s about to change!
More from Jasper and this time the famous boat house at Maligne lake. When we arrived at the lake, in the middle of winter, there was absolutely nobody else around and the snow in the lake was completely untouched. Until I waded out in thigh deep snow to get this photo at least .
Scrolling through archives and this one stood out to me. This was the happiest I had been in all of 2016. Listening to music and constantly getting stuck in the rain. I miss Canada’s crisp air, waking up at the crack of dawn to go explore but first stopping at Tim Hortons to get their dream latte (literally a dream), and visiting the most beautiful lakes probably in the entire world!
Here's a collection ➡️ of some of my favourite Grizzly Bear photos from 2019.
It was a wonderful year for grizzly sightings, and I ended up seeing over 30 different bears. Narrowing it down to ten favourite images was definitely a tricky task.
I learned a lot about grizzly bear behaviour observing these fascinating animals in their natural habitat. All photographed safely from the vehicle with a long lens of course. Despite hundreds of hours looking, and thousands of kilometres driving, it's always well worth it when I round a corner on a remote back road and see a beautiful bear or two.
The first male grizzly bears will be emerging from their dens in about 4-6 weeks, here's hoping for a great year of sightings.
Would love to hear which of this series is your favourite.
My birthday was spent adventuring with my love and seeking out a hidden gem of the Rockies. This was our third attempt trying to get to this spot this winter and it did not disappoint. One of the most stunning feats of nature I’ve ever seen and another reminder that this planet is incredible. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, you made it easier for me to be away today ❄️💙
