Don’t get me wrong, I love it when a bridesmaid knows exactly what they want but what I love just as much is when they say “just do whatever you think, I trust you” ❤️ this textured, twisted, volumized updo is definitely one of my favorites I’ve created!
The first time I met Kate was on her wedding day. I’ll never forget how warm and genuine she was— it felt like I had known her forever! I love that you can feel that about her in this image. what a lucky guy Eric is ❤️
We are back from Cali and are so excited to put the finishing touches on our workshop!!! We are so excited to welcome our attendees to hands-on learning in an intimate setting. We were sold out but we had ONE spot open up last minute. DM if you want to snag it!! We would love for you to join us on a March 8th!

I’m a sucker for a pretty table setup😍 Ashford Acres provided the CUTEST dinner wares for this styled shoot. Did y’all know I’m actually getting married there in November?! I CAN’T FREAKIN WAIT✨
It’s FINALLY Friday! At some point today be sure to take a seat and enjoy your favorite beverage y’all! FYI- This beautiful peacock chair is available to rent. 📸: @meaganjordan_photo

Lets have that Call to Post, we’re off to the weekend! I love all things Kentucky heritage. The rolling hills, the bluegrass, the horses, the bourbon (even though I leave the drinking of it to my hubby!) This wedding fell nothing short of an amazing Kentucky one. What are you racing off to do this weekend? #katierhodesphoto
M+A= ❤️ This is one of my favorite pictures from all the weddings I have shot and I was not the person who took it.
I don't ever get to see this view. The view of the bride when the women she has chosen to stand beside her on her wedding day finally get to see her in her dress; the makeup and hair that she has spent hours perfecting all morning. She is often emotional, after holding it all in all day. The 'it' being all her excitement, pride, gratefulness, nervousness and the love she is bursting with for the person she is about to promise to spend the rest of her days with. It's overwhelming.
I see the bridesmaids who are usually emotional too, filled to the brim with happiness for their sister or friend because they know she has finally found the person who makes her happier than she has ever been. And the love they have for her comes spilling out.
This is the importance of having a second shooter. So the bride can see herself as the rest of us do.
