Samson joined the Gang 6 months ago today
When Samson first arrived he was very timid and scared of human hands. This was the first time we made contact
It was a beautiful but moment, but also sad - he was allowing me to touch him but he wouldn’t look at me because he was so scared
Now Samson is the most playful, happy and smoochy sheep around.
He was actually a tag along with Sonny. They bonded while in recovery, so they came as a package deal. Sadly Sonny passed away after being here for a couple of months, but we feel so fortunate that beautiful Sonny brought Samson into our lives.
Samson brings so much fun and positivity to the Gang’s dynamic

The best way to prepare lamb depends on the cut. Lamb loin chops are best grilled or roasted to medium rare.
Loin chops are a great way to satisfy that lamb craving and can be cooked on the frying pan or grilled on the barbecue.
Old recipes are Gold
You will need:
1 kilo thinly sliced loin chops
1 and a half teaspoon fine salt
1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
Half teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon dhania and jeeru powder
1 teaspoon crushed dhania powder
Quarter teaspoon garam masala
Half teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons ghee
If you want a wet marinade you may add:
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
2 tablespoons chilli sauce
Taste and adjust spices to suit your palette.
Marinade your loin chops.
Flash fry on the stove top or bbq

I’m a little excited to see how this turns out. Hogget Violin. A two month (at least) cured leg of hogget donated kindly by Stan. Dry cured and air dried follow its progress in a new potential product. The rub and meat will be placed in a sealed bag and refrigerated for one day per kg of meat, then washed and hung for a minimum of two months. After a relaxing afternoon in their gorgeous spa, we were treated to a 2 course meal at the restaurant.
We didn’t expect too much from this as it was included in the package, but we were all blown away!! Everything from the amazing range of breads and butters we got to start, to the service was top class. We were so impressed!
I only wish we could have stayed the night here too 😅
