Plan your inheritance
It’s important to plan what will happen to your pension benefits if you die. Passing on your pension wealth is now relatively easy and some pensions can be inherited tax-free. It’s therefore essential that you keep your beneficiary nomination forms up to date as your providers will use this information when deciding who will inherit your pension savings.
Take control of your retirement
When you reach 55, it’s important to carefully consider what you can do with your pension pot. For instance, you could: keep your savings invested; take a cash lump sum; draw a flexible income (drawdown); buy a fixed income (an annuity), or do a combination of these things. While this flexibility may enable you to retire earlier or semi-retire, it’s vital you take full control of your retirement options at this stage. This should include seeking advice and discussing the pros and cons of the different avenues available to you.
Get good advice

We offer advice and help with all aspects of pensions and retirement planning, whether you’re just starting out and want help choosing the most appropriate pension products, or you’re approaching the stage of life when you need to utilise your pension pot and want to know the most efficient way to access your funds. DON’T LABEL FOOD
We live in a society that likes to label food...good, bad, healthy, unhealthy, clean, dirty etc
This does nothing but create or exacerbate poor relationships with food
All food contains calories, some more than others. Some foods are more wholesome and nutrient dense than others. BUT ALL FOODS HAVE A PLACE IN A WELL BALANCED HEALTHY DIET
Have you ever cut out a food labelled “bad” that you love and craved the hell out of it? I know I have in the past. Bread 🍞 pasta 🍝 chocolate 🍫 pizza 🍕 etc
Then have you ever eaten more of a food labelled good and not seen any progress? Again, been there and done that. I believed that because I was eating “clean” 🤦🏻♂️ I could get away with eating as much as I wanted. I had fat loss goals I wanted to achieve and got nowhere fast
Understanding calorie density is a fundamental aspect of nutrition and is of paramount importance when looking to achieve a health or physique related goal and it’s ok to have those goals! Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for wanting to change your health or physique 😁

I’m proper excited to be having this coffee launching this week! We’ve been asked a fair amount about having a decaf on, it’s just taken a while to find one that really hits the mark of great coffee! So much so, you’ll struggle to believe it is actually Decaf! 🤘

Trying my hardest to not be late for things anymore. Turns out im now starting to be like half an hour early for some things 🤔😂 Better to be early and chilled out than rushed and late right?
Morning Leeds! Early patches of fog and low cloud will gradually clear to leave a dry day, however some places will stay cloudy all day. Some light drizzle is possible in the afternoon. Light westerly winds. High 9°C [📸: @ttornegard]
