"That morning in Astana was cold and windy, so instead of freezing outside, I decided to explore the new Hazrat Sultan Mosque. As always, in these sorts of majestic structures, I found myself astounded by the intricate details and symmetries. I was trying to find that perfect angle for a shot when a dad and his three sons walked in slowly and sat in the middle of the main hall. The boys didn't pay much attention in the beginning, but when their dad started to read the Quran aloud for them, they sat quietly and listened. On my way out, I decided to snap the shot, and by chance, the sun pierced the clouds at that exact moment, fully illuminating the mosque. When the shutter clicked, I knew that the photo would perfectly represent the peacefulness and solemnity of the moment."

Kazakhstan is a mainly Muslim country but you'll probably not notice it much as different religions and ethnic groups coexist together peacefully. Both Kazakh and Russian languages are spoken by the majority of the population, so if you plan to visit you may need some basics on these. ⠀

What I love the most is to trace for street art while wandering around the streets. Best of them are at,
⚡️Spuistraat Canal in Amsterdam'da ⚡️Shoreditch, Brick Lane in London
⚡️John Lennon Wall in Prague
⚡️Berlin Wall (obviously!) in Berlin
⚡️El Raval neighborhood in Barcelona
⚡️And 13th arrondissement in Paris

🌸I’m definitely more of a summer person, you? I miss the warmth, the flip flop season, and not having to wear layers of clothes🤦🏻♀️
Sorry for being so MIA lately! I’ve been busy with running errands at home after being away for over 4 months! It’s so good to be home and see all my friends 🤗Currently packing for an upcoming trip, can’t wait💧💦☀️
What a stunning shot of this sand dune pool in South Australia, captured by the talented @sarahbyden! It’s another grey one in London today, so you’ll find us planning our next trip home over a flat white this morning. Happy Thursday, everyone.

"Talk as if what you want is in the process of coming." - #AbrahamHicks
Have you ever told someone about something you wanted to do, but then immediately followed up with saying, "Well, it probably won't happen for me" or "Ha, that would be cool but it's not realistic"
Why do we discount our worth to appear humble?
Why do we discount our dreams with doubtful follow-up statements in case they don't happen? So we don't look or feel embarrassed?
Let's break these two scenarios down:
1) Fear of not appearing humble: likely due to societal conditioning, "group-think" mentality, or not wanting to appear different than your peers if your peers don't want what you want.
How can you set an example for your friends/peers/family and go after what you specifically want? Not what other people think we should all want, but what YOU want?
Who knows, you going after your dreams might will inspire others to do the same.
2) Fear of embarrassment: Being embarrassed, especially in front of people we care about is one of THE biggest fears out there.
I've been there, on both sides of the equation...
...until one day I decided to do my best to recognize if I followed up a dream with a doubtful statement, whether it was speaking out loud to someone or saying it in my head, to FLIP the script.
I'll never forget a phrase I heard from Jim Kwik. He said something like,
"Your brain eavesdrops on your thoughts."
The things you say and think DO matter.
Your brain doesn't know that you're being sarcastic or "humble" by following up your dream with a doubtful statement.
You say something isn't going to happen? Your brain will try look for "evidence" that it won't happen.
You say something IS going to happen? Your brain will look for opportunities to help you MAKE it happen.
Your brain doesn't give a s*** about your fragile ego. (I say this with love, since we ALL have an ego, and we all have experienced moments where our ego feels very fragile.)
How to hack this: think and speak as if what you want is coming.
What do you want?
Trust that it's on its way.
It's on its way.
It's on its way.
It's on its way.
