Yesterday I told you about the story with the lady from the bakery and how much my comment about how she does her work gave her a big smile on her face. If you haven’t read the story, you can find it here: https://bit.ly/2me8h8n
Inspirited by this, today I want to expand this attitude of appreciation as far as it could reach the world and I need your help to make this happen.
Apart from giving only kudos via #LikedIn to the people we work with, let’s express our appreciation also to the people, who daily serve us in a way and make our lives easier, out in the real world. The employee at the supermarket, the waiter, who served a great coffee, the customer service representative from the call center, etc. Not just say “thank you”, but giving a specific feedback on something they did great during providing their service to us. We do this for what we don’t like, why not doing the opposite?
I did this with my personal advisor from Vodafone, I did it yesterday with the owner of the bakery, I did the same the other day with a waiter from a café. At first they looked at me very surprised, but then they were so happy!!! So what do you say? Will you contribute in expanding this initiative of appreciation all over the world and make people happier?
If you like the idea, comment YES below and of course feel free to share this post with your network. And, who knows, maybe you’ll receive also a comment of appreciation for your work from a client of yours or from people you do work with 🙂
