Some Filipino lessons to our non-Filipino followers. Filipinos love eating🤣. "Hello" in Filipino is actually "Kumain ka na ba?" Which means, "Did you eat already🤔?" Because our culture revolves around food. When there is a party? The first question is, "anong handa?" What food will be prepared🤔?
We eat 6-7 times a day, typically with these: .
Breakfast 1. Kape ☕ at pandesal (coffee and small soft bread) around 5:30-6:30am.
Breakfast 2. Sinangag, pritong itlog at tuyo/daing 🐟 (Fried rice, fried egg and dried fish) around 7-8am.
Merienda 1. Kape at biskwit (coffee and biscuit) 10:15am.
Lunch. Pork Adobo at Kanin 🍚(Pork cooked in soy sauce and vinegar with rice, lots of rice) 12nn.
Merienda 2. Biko, suman, biscocho at Kape (Sticky rice, sticky rice, sweet bread and coffee (see photo). 3pm
Dinner. Fish Sinigang or Kare-Kare with rice. Just google is you wanna know.😋 7-8pm.
Midnight snacks. Anything sweet usually biscuit, 🍰bread or chips. Before sleeping. .
Yes, we love eating (and rice too). 😋😋

Last delivery of the weekend (Monday pickups we still got you). Thank you to everyone who placed an order last week! We really appreciate all the support in just our first week. We completely sold out of lettuce mix and carrots, but we will still have plenty of micro greens, bok choy, and romaine for this upcoming week. They are sitting comfortably in the ground, growing and staying fresh, until you’re ready to order. .
We will have more salad mix available the week of October 21, and if all goes as planned we hope to have some scallions, spinach, baby kale, radish, and turnips available that week as well. Thank you guys for being patient. There is not as much sunlight these days as we head towards the winter solstice, and things just grow naturally slower. .
That’s the thing with buying local though. You get what’s in season and as fast as the local climate can grow it. To us, getting fresh produce picked a day or two prior to getting to you is well worth it in taste and quality, though. Local really is best, and once you taste the difference, we know you’ll agree! #thank you

Loving the COLOR of these smoothies I've been making recently! Bananas 🍌, frozen Raspberries & water - thats it!! Biggest plus to these is that the Raspberries are locally organic from someone's yard!! ~ just amazing~
