Babel - a tower of radios playing at once, addresses ideas of information overload and failed communication by Cildo Meireles at the amazing Tate Modern museum in London, UK.
Babel consists of analogue radios of varying ages, from large valve radios dating from the 1920s, which make up the bottom tiers of the tower, to the smaller mass-produced electronic radios of more recent years, which form its summit. By using radios of decreasing size from the floor to the ceiling. Meireles enhances the sense of the tower's height.
Cildo Meireles refers to Babel as a 'tower of incomprehension. Comprising hundreds of radios, each tuned to a different station, the sculpture relates to the biblical story of the Tower of Babel, a tower tall enough to reach the heavens. God was offended by this structure, and caused the builders to speak in different languages. No longer able to understand one another, they became divided and scattered across the earth, and so began all mankind's conflicts.
@accidentallywesanderson vibes 💕 The Woolwich Town Hall was completed in 1906 with an Edwardian Baroque-style exterior. It was designed by Alfred architect Brumwell Thomas and a beauty to see in person! 😍 📸 @heideexyz

I have a new video up on my YouTube channel on my everyday makeup routine. I am definitely not a makeup artist but I love paired-back, #dewymakeup , especially in my dad-to-day life.
I very rarely change it up when it comes to the products I use. Over the past few years, I would purchase makeup on a whim from something I saw on YouTube and I ended up wasting my money in the long run.
Since making changes to my spending habits and purchasing items that only need replacing, I have found what works for me in creating that dewy glow!
What would be your 3 beauty products you could take with you on a desert island?🌴
If your not here to support my journey, au revoir 👋🏻 (to put it nicely) ———•
Jealousy is a TOXIC trait and i ain’t here for it darlin. We support our friends in 2020. We support friends of friends in 2020. Just the general basis of a nice person, shouldn’t need to be reminded💗

I’ve always LOVED the food at @theduckandrice‼️Which is why I was so ecstatic when I got an #invite to come in and try their new menu options. All the dimsum was really good, specifically the har gau (shrimp dumplings) and chicken gyozas‼️🥟 I also loved the duck fried rice. The highlight for me had to be the black pepper mock chicken! The prawns were alright, but definitely not the freshest :/ Overall though, the food and service were great! But I will say the PR agency that handled my invitation @bemorecavalier were a nightmare to deal with. They were terrible at organizing a time for me to come in.. so much so that I had to make my own arrangements with the restaurant. They also told the restaurant (on the day!!) I ought to get a 30% discount, even though they “invited” me to try the menu. Down right unacceptable. BUT @theduckandrice were an absolute dream, as always! #invite#ldncravings 😋😍🥟🍜🇬🇧🇭🇰

The barrel-vaulted ceiling of Gants Hill station. It was designed by the great Charles Holden and takes its inspiration from the opulent Moscow Metro - quite possibly Krasnye Vorota, Okhotny Ryad and Chistyye Prudy in particular
