So today was a definite PJ day. I feel like I’ve been spreading myself a bit thin trying to do 101 things with Noah recently. .
Mum guilt is a funny thing...am I stimulating him and playing with him enough. Are we getting enough fresh air, looking at enough books, singing enough songs. The list goes on. And don’t get me started with weening! 🙈 Mummies our there will know what I mean. .
Simplicity - here is the chosen world describing my view of this 2020!
Being a freshly baked mother, I feel that in my 24 hours of the day is not enough. And here is what I desperately need...:
Creating workflows, consistent schedules, practicing better in time management (!), saying yes for quality on social media and less loosing myself of endless browsing... .
What I want:...I want to photograph real moments, discover authenticity of it...! I want to help my brides to feel at ease & beeing present about their wedding day... To enjoy the little things rather than creating extravagant ones...
And yes, less overthinking but doing more...!
So here is my journey of organising, striving for contentment, saying ’no’ to things that don't serve me anymore, and trusting the Universe...

WANTED RECORDS - Rainy walks through @stnicksmarket in Bristol yesterday.
***SNEAK PEEK*** Yesterday, I had the big honour to photograph these beautiful people's GORGEOUS wedding day at St. Paul's Cathedral... And what a day it was!
TK and Bradley had booked me over a year ago, so we got to know each other pretty well and, by the time their big day had arrived, I felt like I was photographing some old friends!
Being the unique couple they are, they added lots of personal touches to their day and everything was beyond beautiful, but most importantly, EXACTLY how they wanted it to be. The beautiful wedding gown in red and gold silk recalled TK's heritage, the incredible origami bouquet was handmade by the groom and as they met while dancing the tango... The first dance was nothing less than INCREDIBLE!
The atmosphere was just fabulous and I felt really lucky to be the one to record these precious memories for them. Thank you for having me guys and hope to get to see a whole lot of you in the future!
Yesterday saw us at the beautiful Morden Hall from where we bring our sneak peek.
Roberta & Mark's wedding was a real global affair, Roberta being Brazillian had lots of family and friends fly in and they certainly brought a latin feel to this little spot in SW London.
Congratulations Roberta & Mark, we can't wait to share more pictures from your fabulous day! xx
If you’re not having fun, what’s the point? Here’s a little throwback to an engagement session back in August over @14thcoffeeco The flowers and the love were in perfect bloom for this amazing session. These two laughed and giggled like it was their 3 date. What is something that your other half does that makes you laugh? Tell me in the comments ⬇️

Some things never change! 🙈
Here is me, aged about 7. My love for wearing black developed at an early age. 🙈 Today we did a massive clear out, which meant coming across my favourite box: the box full of our family photos! Ever since I can remember, photographs have been important in my family. My dad actually gave me my first DSLR when I was about ten, it was an old Canon 20D, so I always think he is the reason I got into what I do now. He had been taking photographs of me far longer than that, and as it turned out, there were so many photos of our family and beyond in that box. 💜
What I loved most was revisiting my parents wedding album, and seeing all of the photos of them growing up. When they got engaged in their early 20s (they were married at the age I am now!), they seemed to have taken photos of one another all of the time. Photos at the beach. Photos on holiday. Photos down by the reservoir feeding the ducks (something I also did as a child with my grandparents!) Photos at air shows. Photos in their old cars. Whatever it was, they took photos. 💜
The irony is, just lately I’ve realised I don’t take many photos for myself. I always photograph clients, but barely ever do I think about photographing the things in my own life. I’ve been with my other half Jack for almost 8 years, and even though so much of our time together has been spent doing long distance, there are hardly any photos of us when we DO spend time together. Having also lost my grandad this week (second to last photo), today has reminded me that I need to spend more time taking photos. For myself. For us. For the future. It’s reminded me of why photographs are so important, and it’s been a lovely afternoon reminiscing. 💜

It’s a landscape that feels both ancient and like home. Vast, yet perfectly intimate 🌿
England is a land of rolling hills, quaint villages, and old-world romance, and it’s a truly special place to hold your destination wedding.
Its landscape rich with castles, manor homes, and sweeping fields sprinkled with sheep makes it one of the most romantic backdrops around.
Today on the blog, my dear friend Alexis of @willow.and.oak.events is sharing her top tips for couples planning their destination wedding in England.
