Happy holidays from the future Mrs. & Mrs. McDermott. These two escaped out the Cooper's Landing for some formal engagement photos and a little alone time before the bustle of the holiday's takes over.
The first time we met we were gonna get coffee - but got Pizza 🍕 instead. That has to mean something deep 😂🙌 Lauren also goes to the same hair stylist #itsasmallworldafterall case and point. We were meant to be friends 🙌
As much as I hate being cold, I will shoot until my fingers about freeze off to get my clients beautiful pictures. This was one of those days! These two were major troopers because let me tell you - Emily is freezing here but didn’t let it ruin her day - or her pictures - at all!❤️
Getting all my details together for my very last wedding of 2019 TOMORROW!!🥰 Its been a magical year!! I have a feeling next year will A LOT different!! Many new changes coming my way. Some I will have a harder time with than others (moving) and some I'm very excited for.😄 (new scenery).
.. But for today..... being that it is SO GORGEOUS we are going to head out soon and go shooting.... not on the camera 😘😀. I'm excited! It's been too long and I definitely need some practice lol.... what do you have going on today??? Its too nice to be indoors!
Today is finally here. The day one of my best friends marries her dream man. I’ve known Wendy since 6th grade. She has always been and will continue to be one of the strongest people I know. She is a radiant beam of light who impacts everyone she meets with her sheer brilliance, kind soul, and impeccable humor. I’ve never laughed so hard with someone in my life (or had so many damn inside jokes that still make us snort 😂) and she has kept that pure joy in her heart always, no matter what comes her way, like cancer did twice. Some people would have blamed God, folded into themselves, not wanted to fight. But not Wendy. Even going through as harrowing as cancer, she never lost her playful spirit, her bravery or her love for God. Through all of this, God provided, and brought her an angel in the form of a man named David, who donated his bone marrow that saved her life (She is still very close to him and his family today). We always talked about our future weddings when we were growing up, and I prayed that she would one day find a man deserving of her spirit and her love. I’ve also known Jonathan since early high school, and we were in Talented Art together for years. He has always been such a genuine guy with an honest heart and when him and Wendy ended up together years after we graduated - I just knew. I knew he was going to be the one she would spend her life with. They exemplify what marriage is supposed to be: warmth, laughter, acceptance, bringing out each other’s highest potential, and above all, loving and honoring each other above all else. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be standing beside my beautiful Wendy Pants on her wedding day, it’s something I always imagined doing and I’m so honored to have been her friend through all of these years. Peach loves you girl, and I love Jonathan too! Let’s get y’all MARRIED!!!! 😍🎉👰🏻♥️🤵🏼 #bladesofligori#thestoryofligori

A wedding day dream!!! ✨ When we met up with a Christine + Marques for coffee we instantly felt this sweetness from them two - they have kindness in their eyes and smile almost constantly - and when we asked questions they talked with joy about their life together. They love each other so deeply and from that it flows out to everyone around them. What a cute duo to watch/photograph!!
Because you should have the cake of your dreams and eat it too!! I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful couples, and get to know them. Throughout the process from the first consultation to the final approval of their cake design. #lovemyjob#cakegoals
Congratulations to Victoria & Michael!! A beautiful couple inside and out.
Wedding pros who made this magical wedding come true:
Hello!! I’m Kaylee the wife behind the married duo. Never expected to be a team when I started photography. 9 years ago - being a married photography team wasn’t a thing (or I had never heard of it). Can’t believe we do it together - when we are on the same team it’s this whirlwind of sweet emotions. I don’t think a lot of people would recommend to work with your spouse. Guess what? It’s hard. Working alongside the one person who knows you better then anyone else - who can see the ugly and the beautiful. It’s a humbling experience. But... it is so good. Relationships are not always about the “feeling good” moments all the time - it’s also about the getting in the trenches and growing together as humans. We laugh a lot and get to dance around and be goofy - but some days can be long hours of getting through to-do’s and hitting deadlines. I’m grateful for the joy that comes when we experience oneness. -
One of Andy’s mentors (a private pilot) growing up was telling us on Sunday about a conversation between a pilot and a co-pilot going through a checklist... how the co-pilot will ask what temperature the engine is at - and the response being 600 degrees C is returned with a “normal” and green light for all systems running smooth - sometimes the intended purpose of the engineer is to be in faster motion or higher temperatures then what we would assume is normal or expected. How crazy is that? An engine being 1200 degrees F is the ideal heat. Anything less or more would result in an engine failure.
