Good afternoon #goodpeople it’s not even Wednesday yet and some of us are already out of steam - feeling tired, in fact if you are anything like me, you are probably feeling exhausted! But in this moment, when all you want to do is quit ...you have to remember your ‘𝐖𝐇𝐘’. ___________
Why did you start this business? What mission are you on? Why did you stay at this company? What stepping stones does it provide? Remember your ‘why’ and you will be able to keep pushing on.
Posting this for anyone who needs it, cuz Lord know’s I do! 😉 #womanonamission#keeppushing#yougotthis
(there is) no time like the present, no time like now.
What’s coming, is better than what’s gone. 🎯

At Baddhare Clean Mission, we value transparency and education! We want to educate our community about the decisions we make and why so they can decide which option is best for them and their values.
We know that there is no perfectly safe permanent hair color. Why is that? Because of the chemical needed to open the hair shaft to let the color in along with the other colorants need to saturate the hair.
After weeks of research and calling numerous hair color lines that claim to be safer, we selected O&M color. The main reasons we selected this line:
✅ O&M is also transparent. They didn’t hesitate to share their full ingredient list with us while others refused or were reluctant to share.
✅ O&M also believes in educating their clients, so once they know better, they do better.
✅ O&M uses less than 1% of the hair shaft opener chemical and less than .06% of the colorant chemicals in their ingredients. Far less than other lines.
✅ O&M is gluten and soy free!
✅ O&M does not test products nor individual ingredients on animals and none of their ingredients are derived from animal sources, earning O&M CØR.color the prestigious Cruelty-Free & Vegan certification from PETA.
We will also be offering Elumen 🌈 a semi-permanent color line that acts like a permanent line because of its durability, lasting 10-12 washes. It’s magnet effect lets the color sit on top of the hair. Since it’s not a permanent color, you won’t find the strong colorant or hair shaft opening chemicals in this color line! They also just came out with 2 new grey coverage colors! 🙌🙌
At Clean Mission, it’s about providing education and safer options so our stylists and clients feel comfortable making confident decisions. 🖤😎🖤
Please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions or call 843.712.2070 for further info. See you soon! ✌️

Back in the swing of things back in TX and welcoming a new whiskey brand to the fold… the @milamandgreenewhiskey Triple Cask Straight Bourbon and Straight Rye (finished in Port casks) hit the Texas markets today… Had a chance to sit down with CEO Heather Greene yesterday to taste through these special whiskies. Greene, a master blender and author of “Whiskey Distilled: A Populist Guide to the Water of Life,” has teamed up with Marsha Milam of Provisions Spirits, Kentucky-based Master Distiller Marlene Holmes, and celebrated craft brewer Jordan Osborne to create these flagship whiskies.
Not your typical bourbon, the Triple Cask bourbon is a special blend of 2-year Texas bourbon (70% Texas corn, 22% Pacific Northwest Rye, and 8% Wyoming barley) 4-year Tennessee whiskey, and 10-year Tennessee whiskey. With light floral notes of rose hip and orange blossom, this elegant bourbon has a creamy, vanillin palate with high tones of orange marmalade and citrus peel.
The Straight Rye is a special treat made from 100% Indiana Rye that has been batched in the Blanco-based distillery and aged in the dramatic and unpredictable Texas heat. What sets this whiskey apart is that its aged - as with many other whiskey styles - in Port casks. The unique flavors this whiskey takes on with its spicy rye notes, its figgy port tones, and its slightly smoky character is a provocative flavor exercise that begs the question - does terroir extend beyond just the ingredients of a mash bill? Doesn’t barrel, time, and location of aging make a difference as well. I know what I think. It’s worth tasting these whiskies, even alongside others of the world, to start some interesting discussion. .

If you are interested in #diplomacy and you are ready for your next adventure: I have good news! European Academy of Diplomacy ( @ead_diplomats ) is the best fit for you!
Now - having the whole semester behind me- I can only say that applying to this academy has been the best decision I have made. Not only have I came across many talented and enthusiastic, motivating and supportive people around the world but I also became more certain than ever about Diplomacy being the perfect path for me.
I am really happy I attended this Academy and I believe I learned a lot about diplomacy, leadership skills and most importantly about how to do what makes me happy.
✨ New ✨ Title: Close to my heart 💕 This abstract is 1 of 6 that will be in my art store grand opening this Friday! *Or Thursday for those who sign up for the password at AshleyBaldwin.com/newsletter 🙃 I am so excited and nervous about my grand opening! I hope you’ll come check it out, and let me know what you think. 🎨 Mark your calendar!
Well that was a blast! I’m on my way home from an action-packed, thought-provoking, energising day with a great bunch of @hoxbycollective freelancers (both there IRL and via the power of tech!). 💥 🙌 😀
It was empowering to be surrounded by individuals with so much energy and vision for their futures. I met marketeers, events specialists, graphic designers, tech developers and more, all with a common vision to work hard, in a way that fits their life, and to do both with passion and dedication.
I’ve been working for myself for about a year. I always pondered what being a freelancer would be like, but it wasn’t until my life turned upside down that I mustered up the courage to give it a go. I mean with no job, a 1.5 year old and a lot of heartache, there wasn’t much to lose financially or emotionally. So I jumped in (after lots of nudging from @jimiesheehy my bro!), and I’m pleased to report I’m still here (big ✔️), earning the 💷 (another big ✔️) and getting to nursery pick ups on time ⏰. I’ve had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects, champion causes close to my heart (gender stereotyping, STEM education and diversity in engineering 👩🏼🏭👨🏾🔬👩🏻💻👨🏽🚀🧬 ⚙️) and I wouldn’t change a thing. Although I’m at the point I need to find myself an accountant - so do shout if you have any recommendations! 🧮 .
So why Hoxby? I love working for myself. But I also get a kick out of being part of a team, and working with others who have fire in their soul and take pride in what they do. So that’s what I’m hoping to get from being part of this community. Bring on the next exciting chapter. And thanks to everyone who made today possible. As I said, it’s been a blast. .
If you fancy nabbing yourself a notebook emblazoned with the words in this post’s pic, I’ve got one to pass on. You just need to join the growing Hoxby community. Give me a shout and I’ll tell you how. 💻
Thank you to @czech_marks with SCIO Management Solutions for having me out to paint live at their space in The Art of Rheumatology Conference in Grand Rapids this past weekend! 👩🏻🎨
Legit, their booth was FLOODED with people ever since we opened- at 7 in the morning 😱- because people had heard that “someone hired an artist” and they came with curiosity to see who it was and what it was all about. It was such a fabulous talking point that led their potential clients to see the type of creativity, innovation, and effort they put into their business... which led to some great connections! They were smart to add this intriguing element to their business conference, and I had a great time being a part of it 🙌🏼
Fun fact: I modeled for 12 years and conventions like this were a big part of it! I love talking with people and connecting, so the promotional gigs were usually my favorites 🥰 I’m right at home in environments like this because I get to paint *and* tap into that social side.
SCIO used my painting for raffle. They gathered a large number of entries throughout the event and chose a winner at random to receive this custom art piece. I’d say that’s pretty rad! 👌🏼
If you want your event or business to stand out, DM me and let’s chat about how a live painting and/or custom piece of artwork can help bring some positive attention and conversation to your brand. Let’s build each other up! 🕺🏻
