Undavalli Caves // The cave where you get to see the Monolithic architecture, a single rock was cut with ancient tools to create magnificent structures. A place where you can learn so much about history and thus
meant to be a paradise for the people who love history. This used to be a Jain temple, but later got converted into a Hindu temple. When you see it from outside, it will look like a row of cells which is arranged in different styles and positions. The walls of the cave have sculptures of Lions and Elephants.
When I visit such places it fills me with pride and can't help but think how talented people were back then inspite of not having the perfect tools! The intricate art work all over the cave is stunning. To explore and walk around it is like getting into a time machine to another world altogether. 📷 : @lakshmisharath 🌻 #eattravellaughinvijaywada#vijaywada

These are the lines I remembered when I was standing in front of this painting in the Louvre museum.
