Flashback: over a month ago already since I got the privilege of signing my name to witness this chicky become a wifey. Such a gorgeous day and location. Have had so much fun this evening looking through all her gorgeous photos from the day.
On another note, I still cannot believe we had our first babies within months of each other Eloise! Such a special thing for us - to be experiencing motherhood at the same time. Loved seeing them together.
P.S sorry Mitch, you got cropped 😆.
Sorry I've been quiet! Weekend of the wedding. Worn out now! The bride was beautiful and the flower girl my baba. This was her wand. Slowly packing up to go home now. No swimming today as were all too tierd. Back on plan tomo!

Do you have a choice when you hit the shops? Do clothes come in your size? Do they fit your body? Do you see yourself looking back at you in adverts, on cards, on billboards? Does the language you see reflect who you are and what you want to say to whoever will enjoy the product you’re buying?
If you can answer yes to these then you have a certain amount of privilege that others do not have. A white, straight, slim, couple who are not disabled will always have a choice in everything they could possibly wish to buy; replace any of those identifiers, the choice begins to reduce, and replace them all, we get to extreme marginalisation and this is NOT OK.
As small business owners, especially in a country that’s moving in the wrong direction inclusivity wise, we can make a difference and the way we do that is this:
For every straight ‘appearing’ couple you publicise, share an LGBTQ couple, for every white person you use in media, represent a person of colour, naturally include people with physical and intellectual disabilities in all that you do as much as you do enabled people, and diversify your products so everyone has a choice.
Don’t just assume that the world will know that Mr&Mr or Mate of Honour can be ordered as a ‘bespoke’ design, put in the work and SHOW them, set yourself up to say #YouDontNeedToAskHere - and on that note, check out our inclusive card range on the website now.
