Fall Minis are coming tomorrow and we only have 10 spots available this year!!! If you’re part of our mailing list, you’ve already heard about the good news! Sending out one more round of emails this evening with first dibs on the remaining 7 sessions! If you’re interested, add your email below or send a DM!
Do you ever find a location that you love, so you just continue to use it over and over again? I do this. All the time. Eventually I get burnt out on it and go searching for something different. I always leave it up to the client to determine where their session will be, but I’m happy to make suggestions of locations I love. Even if it means driving miles out into the middle of nowhere and couples and families thinking I’m driving them to somewhere from a horror movie 🤪
Back in my old life, there was no such thing as "holiday weekends" being celebrated because I worked every. single. weekend. (Everyone, go thank a nurse, firefighter, paramedic, and allll those people that make the world go 'round when everyone else takes a break👏👏) But these days? I'm spoiled and enjoy these weekends SO MUCH! This is how I feel about it coming to an end... 👆 Also, this little lady had the BEST natural highlights! 😍
The first time a total stranger contacted me over Instagram inquiring about grad pictures, I was stunned.
And very, very nervous.
Sometimes I like to hide behind my introversion. I like the stereotype: quiet, doesn’t like putting herself out there, thinks networking events are torture and would rather be home alone.
So I quoted a number a bit higher than usual. And, to my surprise, she booked me that day.
Then I realized I might actually be good at this whole thing. And, introverted as I am, I discovered that I loved meeting grads, talking to them about their dreams, and celebrating this milestone with them.
These are a few favorites from the 2019 season. They made me a better photographer, a better communicator, and a little more comfortable being a little less introverted.

Winter Wonderland - It’s my last first day of school and it’s absolutely gorgeous on my side of town (west side). Columbia is such a great place to be and I’m going to miss it like crazy. I think this semester will be full of bitter sweet moments like this one. Have an absolutely amazing day everyone!
