Lightheadedness happens when there is not enough blood getting to the brain. This can happen if there is a sudden drop in your blood pressure or you are dehydrated from vomiting, diarrhea, fever, or other causes. Many people, especially as they get older, experience lightheadedness if they get up too quickly from a lying or seated position. Lightheadedness often accompanies the flu, common cold, or allergies.
More serious conditions that can lead to lightheadedness include heart problems (such as abnormal heart rhythm or heart attack), stroke, and severe drop in blood pressure (shock). If any of these serious disorders is present, you will usually have additional symptoms like chest pain, a feeling of a racing heart, loss of speech, change in vision, or other symptoms.

BUT migraines and headaches don’t believe in holidays. In fact, many people find that their headaches are just as bad in holiday time as during the busy Christmas rush! Often it’s the little things that change that can cause the problems.
Being prepared can reduce the risk of headaches ruining your ‘time out'. Follow our daily holiday tips over the coming week to get yourself prepared for an enjoyable break.
YES GIRLLL (and guys) 👏 We made it to the weekend. It’s Friday! Every day I come home from work and my body shuts down. My body holds out just long enough to get home and the rest of the night I’m shot. My limbs ache, I’m exhausted, I don’t want to wake up in the morning.
We are only given two days of rest per week so do what makes your mind/body/soul happy this weekend. If you need to recover, I wish you get the rest you need. If you need some self care, make it a priority. If you are good enough to go out and enjoy the beautiful December air. Go get at it! Sending you much love 💌
Cluster attacks come in periods or cycles, during the cycle a person with cluster headaches will have attacks daily. Typical periods of daily attacks are 6-8 weeks in duration. Cluster headache periods often occur 1-2 times per year, or they can skip years.
Episodic cluster headache is the most common type of cluster in which sufferers have runs of daily attacks and then long periods of time with no attacks. A small number of patients will have chronic cluster headache, with a continuing cluster period going on for longer than a year. #migraines#headaches#health#medical#neurologist

And why it’s important to #support our emotional well being, even if you don’t feel #stressed . .
Our brains are #analyzing everything all day every day. Our #nervoussystem is helping our body systems to work every single day and actually never stops working while we are alive. .
Some of us are right brain dominant and we are #empathetic and very #sensitive to our #emotions and stresses. Others are left brain dominant and keep that #I ’mok mentality through even the hardest of times. But regardless our bodies all are going through stress whether we acknowledge them or not. And when our bodies can’t figure out what to do with those stress hormones, things like #headaches , #backaches , #highbloodpressure , #insomnia , #migraines , #IBS , emotional distress and way more can happen. And actually according to the centers for disease control and prevention, 75% of doctor visits come from #stress on our bodies. .
“Buttttt how can oils help? Aren’t they just a #placebo effect?!” .
Anyone else familiar with this?
All the time I feel like I’m convincing people it isn’t really that bad, and I’m fine, and I can handle it all.
But it is that bad.
I’m not fine.
And I can’t handle it all.
I have a rare chronic disease.
I have to work.
I have to go to doctors and treatments all the time.
I need to keep up with my apartment.
I have a dog and cat to take care of.
I pass out, have seizures, throw up, have episodes, and deal with a ridiculous amount of symptoms from my collection of diseases... But through all that. It’s easier to say I’m fine.
It’s easier than having to see that look people give you.
It’s easier than listening to them say “I don’t know what you want me to do.”
Its easier than having to try to think of ways for them to help you...
That’s why I love this community so much.
I don’t need to pretend to be okay here.
When someone asks me “What is wrong?”
I simply reply with “I’m just tired.”
And they say to take a nap.
But you see, this exhaustion,
It’s not something that can be resolved by sleeping.
I cannot simply shut my eyes and wake up okay.
I need a break from my mind.
