Changing habits is hard, but it’s not an “old” behavior if we are still doing it. The only way to build a better life is to get rid of the parts of the old life. If they are still present, then the change hasn’t happened and we still have opportunities for growth. Instead of allowing shame to creep in, how can we non-judgmentally assess our situation and instead recalibrate our smart goals, practice visualizing the change we want to see, and reconnect to the deeper purpose again. Keep going.

Here at ʙᴇᴀᴜᴛʏ ʙʏ ʙᴇᴄᴋʏ there is nothing but love! Somewhere where friendship is developed somewhere to feel confident and safe. I’ve shared tears with people, shared heart ache and joy, wiped tears for those who needed to share a load with no judgement. I will always be a safe place to turn to so don’t ever feel alone a problem shared is a problem halved as they say.

Angsten overwinnen. Dag 20 van mijn nieuwe medicatie Clomipramine en het lijkt haar werk goed te doen. Geen paniekaanvallen gehad, wel enorme angst voor de angst, maar die gaan we overwinnen.
Zojuist naar de winkel geweest voor een boodschap met mijn autootje waar ik al zes weken niet in heb gereden vanwege duizeligheid en opbouw medicatie.
Het ging goed! Was vrij rustig en had een plan dat scheelt ook.
Eenmaal weer thuis moest ik wel even bijkomen. Hoge hartslag en nu super moe dus even de rust pakken.
We can be so hard on our looks, our body, our career choices, our love life and our family.
Thinking that we need to be something we aren't is very damaging to our self-esteem. We generate negative thoughts which in turn, create negative events to happen in our lives.
To start loving yourself for you, give yourself a compliment once a day. It can be about your physical appearance, an accomplishment you achieved, a goal you are working on. As long as the compliment is meaningful to you, that is all that matters.
When we love ourselves we become stronger, we achieve our goals and we can't be stopped pursuing our dreams.
Loving your self is the right thing to do no matter how old or young you are. It creates confidence and trust. It creates beauty that shines through anything you are wearing.
It takes practice and it won't always be easy. But having a positive relationship with yourself is the only way to love yourself.

MENTAL WELLBEING 🧠🧘🏼
There’s been a lot of talk about mental 🧠 health in the headlines recently and rightly so. The news about Caroline Flack is so incredibly tragic 💔 and it’s definitely got me thinking…
We often look at others and take them on the premise of what they 👁 look like, how much they’re 🙂 smiling, their body language or even how much they appear to be ✅🥇🏆 achieving. But really, what you see can only reveal so much about a person.
I think the iceberg 🧊 analogy perfectly demonstrates that what you see is not always an accurate picture of what is going on for someone.
Under the surface bubbles a web 🕸 of:
🔅Symptoms / Health Struggles
🔅Low confidence or self-worth
🔅Trying to stay afloat
There is so much more than initially meets the 👁 eye.
So be ❤️ kind. Tell that person you love them. Show some support. If you have been overly critical of someone, try and see things from their perspective and understand that everyone is just trying to do their best, based on their circumstances and what they are going through in any given moment.
If you feel that mental 🧠 health is something you need support on, I always recommend speaking with a qualified therapist or psychologist who can be a supportive ear for you to talk to and give you wise advise.
We also know that our🥗 diet, exercise levels and rest (meditation🧘🏻♂️ or gentle yoga) play a massive role in our mental wellbeing, so exploring natural options is always a great idea for improving on your mindset too 🙏🏻😘🧠
This is the real power of positive thinking. ⠀
It’s not just about repeating ‘I am happy’ all day long.. It’s about actively working on the way you’re thinking and getting it to a constructive place. ⠀
You can make yourself miserable or you can make yourself happy, the amount of work is the same. ⠀
If you just go with the first thought that comes out of reaction, life is going to constantly feel defeating. ⠀
It’s when you get good at being progressive with the *way* you think that you can start to see how much this stuff really effects you on a cellular level and effects how your life unfolds. ⠀
Just reading each statement you can see the difference between the energy in each side, your words hold weight. ⠀
Start paying a bit more attention to how you think and work on reframing the thoughts you keep telling yourself. ⠀

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus (121 - 180) was Roman emperor from 161 to 180, and a Stoic philosopher.
He was the last of the rulers known as the Five Good Emperors, and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace and stability for the Roman Empire.
Like many emperors, Marcus spent most of his time addressing matters of law such as petitions and hearing disputes, but unlike many of his predecessors, he was already proficient in imperial administration when he assumed power.

It is said that the book was a favourite of Christina of Sweden, Frederick the Great, John Stuart Mill, Matthew Arnold, and Goethe.
The original title of this work, if it had one, is unknown;
'Meditations' as well as other titles – including 'To Himself' – were adopted later.
He had a logical mind and his notes were representative of Stoic philosophy and spirituality.
