I still enjoy doing traditional natural sew-ins. I also like that my clients are able to wear this proactive style for up to 8 weeks if they choose without maintenance appointments. How long do you guys where your sew-in installments for ?? (Comment below ) ****
Side Note 📝 I’ll be introducing my soft hold spray that will hold & add shine but will still leave your hair weightless and bouncy 🤾🏽♀️🥰✂️ #minneasotastylist#sewin#naturalhairstyles#weavehairstyles#hairstyles#curls#stpaul#stpaulstylist#hair#minneapolismn
Jake The Groom, meet Jake the Tiger. Just saying, there is never not an appropriate time during a MOH speech to bring out a stuffed tiger from childhood... which happens to share a name with the groom.

In high school, I had two nicknames: Big Nerd and Giggles. The first was given to me by my first boyfriend as an endearing way to joke about how much I loved colored pens and journals. We are long time family friends and he still calls me this from time to time. The second I honestly gave to myself because I got in trouble A LOT for laughing too much during class. 😂 I haven’t changed much when it comes to the accuracy of these nicknames. I still love colored pens and journals and planners. And I laugh A LOT in my every day life! (Unless you catch me at the gym - there I’m concentrating so hard that I probably have RBF. 😜💪🏻) What about you, my friends? What nicknames did you have growing up?
Confession: honestly it took me 8 tries to get a photo of this that didn’t look like I was naked or just awkward. I almost gave up. Here’s the thing though - I wanted to show a moment in time of what it’s like to live with cystic fibrosis. Right before I started my treatment, I was coughing so hard that I had to pull my hair up and drink cold water just to cool off and stop myself from possibly gagging on the mucus that I can never quite cough out. Cold water seems to help for some reason. I always cough it loose enough to swallow it and that’s it. Eww. Gross! Right? Yeah. Well, living with any disease is never glamorous. But who wants to see gross things in their newsfeed? I sure don’t! So I’ll spare you the visuals and just leave you with this...
Today I woke up and decided to just be thankful. I spent some time with God and I told Him I was thankful for the lessons I’ve learned in business over the last year. I told Him I was thankful for the connections I’ve made this year and for all of the clients we get to help. And I told Him I was thankful for medicine. Because I am. CF is a horrible disease but because of medicine, I get a chance to live out my dreams and have a long life. So I choose to be thankful for that, even when I cough so hard it’s challenging to catch my breath and I cough up gross things. .
Every day we get to choose our attitude, no matter what our circumstances are. So tell me, my friends, what is something you are thankful for right now? 😊💜

I often can’t find the words to fully describe what it’s like being a wedding photographer because words do not feel *enough*. My fellow photogs can attest, we do not take this “job” lightly. Couples choose us to be a part of their day and I do not know of anything else that’s more special than that. We work hard to serve our couples with love and care. And when we lose count for how many times we’ve been stopped by the couple + guests just to be told, “you are doing a great job”, we come home with a FULL heart and sometimes we/I may sob happy, happy tears.😭😭❤️ Beth & Tyler, you two are incredible individuals and together, a wonderful pair. So grateful to have had the opportunity to photograph your love + story!!✨ lotsss of sneaks on my Facebook page - link in bio!!❤️

Today marks one week back in the 612, and honestly it feels like no time has passed and I’ve been living in Narnia for the past year. (Cute welcome home touches by @michellegriep)
Cheers to Tuesday! 🍻 I’m headed to DC this week with my mom, so today is my “Thursday”. Loving this shot of the new Mr + Mrs, getting away on their own little adventure before the reception. Perfect time to relax, and get a few candid photos.
4 days left counting until the @jfreyofficial magnificent trunk show. New frames and new releases galore. J.F.Rey is one of my favorite frame lines and here’s why:
- Petite face? We’ve got your back 🙌🏻. They actually have a part of their collection called “petites” so no more wearing children’s frames y’all! - You love metal frames - perfect, they are the experts at that
- Have a big head (Hey! Me too. You know what I say “big head, big ideas”) - they have plenty of frames to fit the width of your knowledge - You love acetate (plastic) frames - yup, you guessed it!, they have those too

INFER STRUCTURE • • • The 24th Street Pedestrian Bridge is slowing taking shape, with both stairs and a ramp leading up to it. It’s both gritty and sleek right now. The vertical lines will look so nice when completed. #24thstreetpedestrianbridge#wewalkmpls
IT WORKS • • • Still, without a doubt, my favorite city park. It’s perfect. Site of the 1989 Arbor Day, as the sign states. And, from the looks of it, some surviving sidewalk panels from 1940. Nearly 80 years old! #worksprogressadminisitration#wewalkmpls
So incredibly grateful for these 30 years of life God has blessed me with but more importantly for all my day ones.
I knew I wanted to celebrate turning 30 with some of the people I care about most and after some thinking it only made sense to come home to Minneapolis to ring in this new milestone. Learning that it’s not about what you do, it’s about who you do it with that really matters in my 20’s, it was so clear to me who I needed to celebrate with. Y’all have seen me through my best but also some of my worst, there for me through the thick of growing pains and have been by my side despite all the distance. Even though we’re miles apart, I know these bonds we’ve made are sacred and need to be cherished.
From the bottom of my blessed little heart thank you to all my loves for such a thoughtful and memorable weekend! I was freakin floored 😮 love you beauties to the moon and back!! 😘💕👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️ #thirtyflirtyandthriving#minneapolismn
